  1. Even in the wet? ^ Please do a thread after youve done that. With pics.
  2. Your brake lights still show.Clearly you are a noob in terms of crime. Edit: i cant find anything, except that you could kill the brake lights by wiring a switch between the pedal switch.. And then youd just switch your lights off to complete it..?
  3. DASC is lame. Why pay so much to S/C a 318? So youd top out the performance at a measly 215hp. You can practically get that with a 325 w/ basic boltons, not to mention a 328. Engine swap, or buy a faster car. Its just a waste. Edit: Andrews car is a 323, which is for sale. Excellent condition, plus that would be worth supercharging... OBD2 tho.
  4. hahah whee 5% pleeeease. Oh yeah, does it come with the exhaust spinner? Because i hear that helps with the 'evacuation of exhaust gasses'. Can we get a turbonator/spinner/weeniecharger GB?
  5. BBS are timeless. If you put up some pics of your cars, and the rims, im sure someone could pchop em nice for you. And i congratulate you on not choosing chrome! :pimp:
  6. Im pretty sure it doesnt mean 'Manual' as much as it did for the US. They got a 4spd box, with manual mode holding each selected gear. We have the euro 5spd box, where in M it will use 3 as its starting gear, making it lazy/economical/slow
  7. Yes, as it is even more low revving early gear changing. But again, we're talking slight amounts here, but i def noticed savings. Try it for a week in each.
  8. M mode is basically for snow/ice. Its good if you want to save petrol, as it will drive like a nanna. Its the exact oposite of S.
  9. Good to see your only contribution to this forum is the sale of tasteless mods. Ugh :rambo:

Dont go any lower than that - just wait it out. Selling it for less aint worth it. Its too good for that.
  11. I cant believe youre surprised. Who would accpet a tradein price without knowing the cars market value?

eww the chrome makes it bad. Otherwise good.
  13. So its a coupe, and its the bit right at the top which is starting into the furry interior stuff? If the seal is crappy looking, replace it. Otherwise a bit of glue should be ok - it might have lost its elasticity/hold due to age.

Yah, its ok to have a wee bit of play in it, but it does seem very common. Anyway, with it being that km's, find out about coolant issues especially, as well as how the transmission is doing.. Plus by then it should have had some bushings replaced, and the waterpump/radiator neck done. Id be weary just coz of the price..Look at others within that range - something is up.

Lets go to the post shop and find the owner using the rego. He deserves some stern looks and headshaking. At least if he's insured he'll be getting another one? Pukekowned!
  16. Actual, whats up with the whiteness.. Last time i accept someone saying bmw means black mans wheel..
  17. Hey, if they are - thats a pretty good price! Just gotta wonder about warranty - since its trademe/private, he aint really obligated for it.. Jump on them.
  18. Studpattern wont fit e30s right?
  19. Dont get cheap ones - the clips will break very easily when you take em out! I'd get some depo ones from understeer.com or somewhere! (ill order some after xmas)..
  20. They just gotta be the same shape/wattage, or theyll throw off the OBC warning (well cheap tails will also do that). The bulb is basically a common design, clips into the holder, which clips into the tail light. Obc Errors will appear when You mixed the bulbs up putting em back in (me) You have cheap tail lights You have wrong power bulb. I got some bulbs with mine - theyre clear, but have an orange powder coating on the inside of the bulb, i.e. not on the glass, but on the inside of the main metal of the bulb housing. Good luck, dont anger the obc or your indicators will flash funky.
  21. You shouldnt have to ask for this, its pretty easy. Take off plastic cover Disconnect wire plug Take out bulbs (vaguely remember where they go) Unscrew the 4 hex nuts Take off exterior glass - it may be quite tight, so hammer on the screws from the inside if ya have to Reverse of above. And yeah, unless yours came with orange bulbs, youll have to get some. Meh 2, bulbs cant cost too much.
  22. bimmerdiy.com its a common thing, and youd have to take out all the headliner to glue it back on.
  23. Dont forget that theres plenty of aftermarket kits out now which make it even hawter.
