I just never picked up on the whole black thing. You never see it in any magazines/photos/websites etc. So I assumed that Silver was the only colour it came in! But yeah now that theres the option, Black over silver anyday. It was Hawt. Oh yeah, and everyone wanna sell their cars to buy this? We'll take turns driving it - kinda like timeshare.
-
Oh sweet - i thought all this time only silver! I had never seen a black one before.. ever. Not even on teh intarweb.
-
yeah i have heaps of bits from overseas - exchange rate is helping too! Bimmerforums.com is a good way to find some vendors - Ive used understeer.com and bimmerworld.com quite a lot for suspension/control arms/lights etc.

Just thought id mention.. That I saw a Black M3 on Kroad at 8am yesterday. Except something was different It was like entirely M3CSL.. So it had the body, wheels, and the badges. Except it was Black.. and they only come in silver.. I was like 2 seconds away from running out on the road to confront the guy, but the lights were green again.. If it helps, the front didnt have a plate, but a dealer logo.. i think the word prestige was used... Anyway - CSL painted black, or M3 with $$$$ worth of OEM options paint matched?

I woulda gone except i was out of the country... looks like i missed a cool event.. Next time..

Good to see there is some hope.. Plus it will help Hamilton get an edge on other towns for tourism/visitors..

Anything that doesnt come in 3 steps sucks. Or rather any cleaner wax comes out terrible on black in comparison.

Youd prob wanna open up the panel under the steering wheel and see if theres any identifying feature for it.. otherwise it may be hard to guess the brand etc.

I dont see how you can live in west auckland, and not care about handling. Seriously 18 is as much as you want. Rim size is not a pissing contest. Its about overall appearance. 90% of crappy crappy cars have 19's. The nice ones tend to go with a less 'look at me' wheel, which delivers superior handling/comfort.

yeah need e30 side and rear....
-
Does sort of show how google in a way controls information.. Lets hope google doesnt go china on us, and restrict everything...

17s are best. Reason - They give optimum handling, while providing enough rubber for rougher roads. Anything larger will cause more noise and vibration, and also increase tyre costs further. 18,s would still be fine, Anything that is larger is purchased purely for the 'look at meeeee' factor, which means that size directly correlates with lameness. This is often found coupled with cut springs (or no springs) to finish the abomination of handling and style.

As if it needed more to cause ownage. Cant wait to be shown up in more ways than before

You'd want the gromets. The old ones should still be ok - we just replaced badge on brothers e30 and they were still in good condition.

Bimmers are pretty high up in the friends hierarchy...I hate you for putting them into the position of making them choose between their friends or a bimmer

Pics or ban.

Just thought that i would mention that Sauber actually means clean in german.. .. Nothing like a clean bmw:D (tho technically then it would be sauberer bmw)
-
you guys must have stores there which sells springs.. H&R are pretty much the standard for what to get - get sports rather than race.

Kinda like it - whats up with the fugly mer-esque mirror/indicators..

Take it to vtnz and get it checked after you look at it. You dont want a 5k car that costs you 10k.
