    Thats great news.

Like Olaf I'm looking forward to seeing the Ute finished and then seeing what you do with the E38.

Hopefully your first order of business will be the removal of the M badge..lol

If you going to start collecting parts I have a Black leather dash and door cards for a il. Might also have the rear carpet section.

Also have one of the rear footrests somewhere. Flick me a pm if your interested.

Haha yea it was a lucky find.

I'll be concentrating on getting the ute finally finished before I start cutting this E38 up ? but I'll start looking for interior bits for this, hopefully someone is wrecking an iL with black interior

    How'd the cert go?

It didn't, waited most of the morning for they guy only to be told he double booked us.

Sooooo we now have to wait another 2 weeks. But this gives me a chance to get the new interior in and tints done, a little disappointing but he seems to be the only chap in Auckland who will certify the air bags and 'paint

no no no, this won't do.  you need to talk to the man who cornered the market in e38's, and, most particularly, 750's.  Talk to Don @kulgan and he'll tell you the price, if he deems it appropriate for you to make an e38 aquisition.  B)

I just may have to. I'm heading on honeymoon tomorrow for 2 weeks and then will be back and start looking for that 750i and hit up @kulgan for some advise.

    Whats your price range?

Depends on the condition of the car. $1k to $3k maybe $4k.

There are plenty of body work mods planned, so if the car is in too gooda condition I may not take it.

I'm just after something that has a decent drive system with no issues

  7. Got a few sneak photos in of the ol boy at the wedding. Will upload some of the shots we had done when they get developed. Didnt quite get to finish what I wanted before te big day, but a good success all in all. Drives pretty sweet on the bagged suspension. needs some fine tuning, but after honeymoon I will bring him out for a meet and great.

    Hi All,

So the weekend was depressing as the timing case broke on my UTE just before the rebuild (more wasted money and hard to find part)...So in my searches on the interweb i came across a local who had a gem sitting in his driveway ready to be refresh or re-purposed.

Its an 95 750il w 162k on the clock, its missing a few items but nothing that i am sure i would be able to find here or from our sponsors.

Its currently de-registered, so that's where i am un-decided, so thoughts would be awesome as when my engineer finds out about me spending more money on other things i may need somewhere to hide :)

    Plan:???
