Thanks James. Have spent today playing round with the car. Dosent seam to be slave cylinder. When car is off, goes into all gears apart from reverse. But i now know the the clutch is not engaging somehow as i can put it in gear while off and try start it with clutch in and car jolts forward like stalling. However the clutch feels the same as it did last time it i drove it. Any more ideas or help??? Rick.

I cant find a leak anywhere and the reserve still has fluid in.

Help, My E30 is not going into gear both when off and running. could this be the clutch? or is it the trans? Thanks, Rick

Update, found what was making the noise. A small black box located below the front right speaker. Do i need to replace this or is it something simpler? Rick

My E30 has an alarm with keyless entry. Alarm is working fine but it no longer unlocks or locks the door with the button push now. I hear a little grinding noise, like something is trying to unlock them but fails. Any ideas? Cheers, Rick

yes there replicas, they are fiberglass. Original parts are plastic. Just the fitting needed with all fiberglass parts, fine tunning. i dont have a four door so am unable to line them up. When i brought them the seller told me they were form a two door. im in auckland at the moment, and not back till next week. But can sus a time out with my old man on Monday if you want? Last dynoed at 160kw. Am hoping to push this closer to the 200 mark next year. Used a tint can from repco, easy as job and still produce the same about of light. Yea i know the sides look odd with nothing on there, they will be on in a month or so, just have to find the time and money to finish it off now.

Got a WOF.

It was the battery. Cause i knew it was in need of a new one, i started with that before getting anyone to look at it. Put the new battery in and it started like a treat.

My E30 wont start.... Im quite sure its the battery but i have tried to jump it and it still wont start. As my car usually takes a bit to start and the jumper leads were cheap small ones im thinkning this mite be why. It turns over but dosent start, will this be the battery? I have been told the battery was on its last legs so does this mean its gone, or could this be something worse? Help please. Thanks
