how easly could the side skirts be made to fit a convertible?

...well actually i require a gun. My story goes, got my e30 325i convertible about 6 weeks ago. Few days ago a snot faced old man flung his door open while i was park beside him and has dented it. Going through insurance now >

Its a crack up guys are talking about this, just bought the 'Classic Car Magazine' its one from the uk and there was a red 1602 in there for sale. Never seen one before, actually thought it was typo in the beginning. Be hard pressed to chose between that and a 2002tii (In canary yellow )

Can anyone confirm for me if this would be a direct replacement for an auto e30 325i convertible? For a convertion, all else i would need would be a pedal box? Thanks for the help guys.

On this page u can read how this Merc was the worst performer in DTM series, aimed at the m3 and sierra cosworth it failed misserably(just like my spelling). So now i would never by that car infact i'd rather be seen walking in my nice new shoes than driving that car.
