Total BMW did a good piece on this, main reason it didn't get made was torsional rigidity was a big big problem and basically had to add lots and lots of weight to meet requirements. I'd have one in a second.

So if Mubarak was removed right now, who and what would take his place? and how can we be sure that who ever replaces him is actually what Egypt wants?
-
The conversation on breakfast as such, just the part people are focusing on; 'Key: The New Zealand Government wants a peaceful outcome to this. In the end, whoever governs your country is a matter for the citizens. And in the case of Mubarak he’s been there for a long time, 30-odd years. We respect the fact that he has done his very best to lead a country which has recognised Israel and, therefore, has wanted to make sure the position in Middle East has been a peaceful one. It’s not easy, it’s very complex, and there’s a lot of emotion. Dann: Are you calling for him to go? Key: No Dann: I guess the concern is the Muslim Brotherhood. The potential for an Islamist movement to come in and fill that vacuum. Is that the concern? Key: Well, the concern is that there are some nations that simply do not recognise Israel. And, taken to the extreme, in Iran Ahmadinejad has said he basically wants to see Israel wiped off the face of the Earth. So, it’s a very serious situation. Egypt’s provided stability and leadership and calmness. Obviously, the hope always being that that position would spread across the Middle East, that it would be possible to broker a two-state solution, with recognition of Palestine as well but this certainly looks like it’s taking things, potentially, in the wrong direction.' While I'm sure some read that as support of Mubarak, Key seems to be taking a more pragmatic approach to the entire region rather than just Egypt. Still as Key supporter i would have preferred to hear something about Mubarak being replaced with an democratically elected Head of State/President/What ever who would look to champion the average Egyptian, rather than some group just waiting to slot in immediately, similar to what Nath was saying. I havent heard of any interim person/group who cold run things while a President was democratically elected? The current vice?

Your link doesn't work for me? page can not be found. I would like to read more on exactly what Key had said, anyone got a link to the original?

Had a chat last night about old guilty pleasures. Got me thinking about cars and the ones i used to drool over but now wonder what the hell i was thinking. When I first go to NZ i thought the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo was just pure awesome. What did you used to drool over but now think not a chance?

You guys are all wrong, way off. The way i stroke my M20's is i stand on the drivers side with bonnet open. I then start with my left hand on the cam cover close to fire wall, i slowly slide my hand along the cover feeling the metal as i go along. Then i reach the three stripes and the BMW embossing where i slow down the stroke, getting in as much detail as possible then when i reach the end of the cam cover i start the whole process again with my right and hand starting at the front of the car stroking towards the fire wall. I've stroked M20's for a few years now and this process works every time. Go on, give your M20 a loving stroke

Good score dude, like the way you can see good detail on the clouds and palm tree, paint looks sharp. The reflection in the bumpers seems pretty straight, no nicks or cracks in the chrome?

Thats heading straight for bat country. Love your work!

Cheers Glenn, no idea of age of battery but it does not look old. Will do charge rate test tonight, what do you mean by load test? Is that where you turn the lights on while car is running and then turn the car off to check that they dim?

About a month ago i gave some one a jump start with the touring. Before the jump start the car always started immediately after i turned the key, after i did the jump start i noticed that it seemed to sluggish on the start and now over the weekend it wouldnt start, battery just didnt have enough juice. Put it on trickle charge over night, fully charged it up and was working fine until this morning when it was time for work dead again. Have I stuffed something up? Battery? Alternator? (Guessing here) The car I jump started was a 2002 SS Holden, could this have sucked too much out of the battery and have now caused the battery to not hold charge? Appreciate any help

Reminds me of a joke about woman, men, sex and shopping. Joke goes. Husband and wife are getting all snugly in bed. The passion is heating up. But then the wife stops and says, " I don' t feel like it. I just want you to hold me." The husband says " WHAT???" The wife explains that he must not be in tune with her emotional needs as a woman. The husband realizes that nothing is going to happen tonight and he might as well deal with it. So the next day the husband takes her shopping at a big dept. store. He walks around and had her try on three very expensive outfits. And then tells his wife, We 'll take all three of them. Then goes over and gets matching shoes worth $200 each. And then goes to the jewelry Dept. and gets a set of diamond earrings. The wife is so excited (she thinks her husband has flipped out, but she does not care) . She goes for the tennis braceoet. The husband says " but you don 't even play tennis, but OK if you like it then lets get it. ' The wife is jumping up and down. So excited she cannot even believe what is going on. She says " I am ready to go, lets go to the cash register. " The husband says, " no -- no -- no, honey we ' re not going to buy all this stuff." The wife face goes blank. " No honey - I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. " Her face gets really red she is about to explode and then the husband says " You must not be in tune with my financial needs as a MAN!!!!!!!!
