This is the one i wanted before i got the e34 wagon. It disappeared of trade me just at the wrong time. Would be sweet minus the rice wheels, steering wheel, tail lights, G stickers and full chrome grill. Im not a hater on airbags its a wagon so its not exactly ever going to be a racer anyway. Just needs an owner with a bit more taste. Ild be worried about the plates aswel, Might need a revin by now, unless he keeps putting it on hold each year.

1$ reserve e30 BILSTEIN rear shocks Will let the highest bidder decide the value, 1$ reserve e30 rear shocks, Pressure is still really good, there replacement bilsteins, not the factory ones so have done alot less kms than the car has. are a bit dirty in image but are otherwise in good condition still http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...479&ed=true

speakers in doors? anyone tried it?
323e30 replied to Wervie67's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
can be done in the rear doors easily enough. Just keep in mind where the magnet will sit and make sure it doesnt interfere with the window winder rails etc before you cut any holes. Front doors are trickier because the rails are in the way Or the side pocket is in the way. Or if you put them beside the side pocket where they do actually fit they will be pointing at your bum so you dont get the full sound from them unless you open the door. I put tweeters in a few years ago and just used e34 tweeter pod mounts, They go where the inner cover for the door mirrors are , It was pretty easy to mod them to fit. -
haha Cop just throws the Cho-mie, chrome down on the road

yeah wouldnt you be able to just machine it? as in machine the side the studs come through on just press the studs out to do it. it will give you a 5mm option for a locator lip aswel to fit the new mags so you dont get the spacer jitters at 100kms

m30 engines are easy, As Brent said pull motor and box together. The loom can stay on the motor , Just disconnect it from the Ecu end, fuse box and the battery . Leave loom on the motor and re use the donor engines loom if its there. Or swap the loom over while engine is out of car if new engine has no loom , Makes it alot easier. to stop damage to the engine bay lip use a trolley jack under car to lift gbox untill you get the correct angle to get it out without touching car. (you will need car up on 4 stands to do this) also set your engine hoist to around .5 ton the engine is only 150kgs and the box maby 50kgs. You will need the extra length from your hoist for lifting the box and engine together.

does your car shake while driving much? Sounds like it could be an un balanced driveshaft if the doughnut has buggered itself more than once. had the same prob in my wagon from using two different halve shafts and not balancing it. = cracked doughnut within 8000kms. I have mint used doughnuts to fit that model 25$ postage included.

yeah had a good look today, really no easy way to do it, the e36 seat rails are too offset from the seat so even with custom frame mounts there going to be sitting too close to the center console, think ill just keep my eye out for e34 sedan leather seats, the ones around just seem to be a bit pricey. will be selling these e36 leather seats if anyones interested , (or swap for e34 leather seats)
-
yeah facelifts use a different hanger bearing, You can get them pressed off and swapped tho to fix that prob tho, I recently had to do this and it only cost me 25$ to get done at the local driveshaft specialists.

Has anyone on here tried to put e36 seats into an e34? I have a mint set of leather e36 seats that i want to put into mt e34 wagon. There non electric so no issues there. Just not sure how well they will fit. mainly worried about just the front seats at the moment. the rears will be another ball game with the wagons folding seats and all

sometimes the pins on the plugs on the back of the speedo cluster get corroded. Maybe check that before you go spending too much. there easy to clean, just use crc co-contact cleaner.
