  2. Head of Police in Dunedin declined to comment on camera, I fear this was a coverup not to disclose the wind speeds that evening. The F.B.I also attended & have removed the suspects from the most wanted lists, INTERPOL have removed the suspects from their website as it has now become a closed case.
  3. Cheers Jochen, I just found this very usefull, listening to 89.4 all the time, well, it goes without saying!
  4. 335d engine conversion... Remapped to twist the chassis at about 800nm. 800nm vs a car that weighs as much as a carrot.
  5. Gang bangers? Ahahahaha! Did you hear about that letter box that got smashed over a few years back? Dunedin is still reeling over it...
  6. One of our cars has a keycard which requires the card to be with you when starting and unlocking, I think if I'm parking it where I can't see it (at work I can see it through the window and at home it's garaged) I will remove the key. It's nothing more than just plain laziness.
  7. Good idea? To eliminate putting the key into the dash of the E90, I've instead inserted the spare key from the glovebox permanently, is this ok to do? I can lock the car, unlock the car from the key on my remote still. The reason I want to do this is so that I can just hop in the car and press the start button... Won't cause any damage? I guess the only negative is that if someone smashed the window they could start the car & drive off...
  8. +1 Travel times, house prices, even climate most times are better IMO than the North Island (humidity in the summer) I guess it's all relevant but we wouldn't have half the stuff we do now if we lived in Auckland. I bought my first rental property for 36k about 13 years ago when I was 18, did it up and bought another one a few doors down for just over 40k in Oxford Street, South Dunners & sold them in 2004 & 2005 & buggered off to Melbourne for a year. & Jeezus, Tobytoblerone... Get an S Class, your heart apparently beats several times fewer per minute than BMW owners lol.
  9. Good old Glenn, you're an asset!
  10. Cheers, model number is : 60PS80FD 60" LG Plazzie.
  11. Just bought a 60" LG Plasma on TradeMe. It's said faulty PDP module due to green lines down the screen, the lines don't look too bad IMO. I've read on forums (that suggests otherwise) prior to bidding that it can be loose connections via ribbons or cables. Is there anyone here in the know or who has access to 2nd hand parts? Cheers.
  12. I'm not too sure mate, I have seen them for less than 15k on TardMe. Few close examples : 320i - YEAH NOT SO GENUINE M! TURNERS Rot 320i NZ New That deal above is pretty good being NZ new and leather! A fair amount of car for the $$$ & remember, everyone is negotiable!
  13. YES! But only on ice lol The E46 320d I have with ASC off is a handfull even in the dry. But no, this engine was designed for people in their late 90's lol
  14. They had 20 on it, but for that you could get a 320d which would be much more preferable IMO. From what the trade in owed us, that's what it worked out as. IMO it's in brilliant condition i.e there's only one mark I can find and it's on the rear bumper, the interior is like brand new, almost too good to be true to be honest... Few issues though I've come across, the LH front light flickers and even turns itself off! And the RH park light isn't working, makes me wonder how it got a WOF with two things like that and it was only done on Saturday, unless they both packed up between now and then.
  15. I dunno, IMO it's quite a good looking machine, albeit, the engine isn't what I'd prefer, but when it owes you less than 13k....
  16. In Dunners that kind of coin would own you a few acre lifestyle block, say 200+ squares home, landscaped & under 10 years old. Amazing really.
  17. Might pay to get rid of that MyWebSearch too
  18. Ok, so it's arrived today finally, I'm actually quite surprised on how well it does go, certainly no 320d but then again it's no pig either, seems to be quite crisp first off, and nothing between 3000rpm and 5500rpm after that it kinda delivers. Much smoother than the E46, the clutch, and six speed manual box is brilliant, it's tight, solid and rides very well and seems to handle quite good also, it doesn't feel as well made as the E46 though, but I think we all knew that! I dunno how long it will last, I'm guessing I'll keep the 320d and biff this soon for a E90 320d or 330d if possible. I see it has sports suspension settings e.t.c, what makes it a Motorsport? The kit I take it i.e this is a standard car with MS suspension? 19. Thanks Glenn, I've had a look about on Forums, and some people are taking wheels off, for a fkn parklight bulb??? Unreal!
  20. I've had a quick poke around, but cannot see how to get in to replace this bulb, is there something I'm missing? 2005 E90 Cheers.
  21. Speaking of the push button start, you can insert the key into the dash, start the engine, stop the engine, remove the key then press the start button and the engine will start, is there any way you don't have to insert the key at all and just use the push button? Might of been confusing, but check this Yooo Tube Some cars released today don't require you to insert a key at all (toyboata for example) - although their system with touching the door handles to unlock is a gimmick IMO & try hard Euro.

To date, I've never seen a Euro SUV in diesel, yes the Japanese built cars, i.e Toyboata, but how come not in the Touareg, X5 e.t.c. ?
  23. Whatever floats ya boat, you'd have to do it for personal reasons because there would be no seeing that dosh again lol.
  24. We've never required one. In the six years I've been going, we've never had an issue like this. The delays were out of my hands, relying on other people/companies & giving a date would be insane, unless you gave plenty of leeway, i.e a couple of weeks. Too many variables i.e stock levels, build times, couriers (yeah!) accountants, and the customer themselves who do like to change their minds on certain things/products.
