    ML320

I'm just wondering how someone can trade on there with so many negatives & neutrals, let alone the uncompleted trades. It's not you is it ha?
  2. Even at 8k? Mines a motorsport manual with 230kms and I wouldn't be putting 8k on it personally.
  3. Lowered ML320 - checkout the guys feedback! What we have here is a car that can kinda go offroad & has now been converted to something that really cannot. Visit My Website

    Wheres Jack?

Regardless of the wrong doings here, posting personal financial issues of others is not what I'd call "healthy" posting material. I'm surprised this thread hasn't been deleted/locked.
  5. Yeah but it has to be a wee bit different on one of these. If it was a Nissan Pulsar then I just wouldn't care but these things are highly strung.
  6. I'm just not sure it's worth that much IMO. Put it this way, if you're after one of these 10-15k isn't that much more which will get you a far lower mileage version. Just a thought.
  7. IMO it's a milestone given your story & the fact that the decision has been ruled in your favour. I just hope that they pay up for what has occurred. I'm in the service industry & I have the realisation that "what's built by man can be f**ked by man" & some things can go wrong & even though some things can be done incorrectly by the installer/serviceman on a general scale it's then up to the business to rectify these issues. This said, it's how fast things are rectified that makes good service & in your case this has been total failure which is why you're in this position. Keep us posted & I hope you see a few more slides in your account soon.

    98 Octane

I thought BP was the only one who sold 98 octane? Has a different smell to it.
  9. This all makes me want to cry seeing this, I run a IT repair business from home now and I get 3mb/ps! Try running 3x Vista machines which have had a factory reset & trying to do updates!
  10. Yup, but it was removed when I picked it up. Wasn't a fan anyway, sticker is better on a Toyota, as they transform from a car into rat sh*t.
  11. Yeah my 304 ute would blow it off the road. Sad to say tho, the 320d would probably blow them both off the road!
  12. You're doing it wrong Belicose, no offence, sorry if I came off as such, it's just the way we roll down here ha. But what I meant really is that in it's "current form 5.0 304ci V8" has been around since the 80's There was a documentary on Top Gear about this (skids, donuts e.t.c) whilst girls were watching and the results were inconclusive...
  13. In that form (EFI) it was the 80's Injection is always going to make things sound different & in this case, this car sounds pretty damned good IMO. 253??? Dear o dear!
  14. Yeah, but we kinda have to remember that that engine was designed in the 80's lol - but definitely not ok to be using it up until around the year 2000 haha!
  15. Went & seen him Justin, the start up procedure even baffled him, booked in for Thursday, then off to the mechanics all next week, should have bought a Ford Belicose...
  16. We have a crib about 40kms from there and yeah, they should have put a fence around it to keep them in. If you go there for the supermarket e.t.c everyone stares at you, if NZ was making a Deliverance film, it would have to be there, it's a very wierd place.
  17. We used installer services about 8 years ago to kit out a brand new Mazda 6 when I first started in business, they were a handful to deal with and quite un-reliable, the same crew? Are they gonna do me a deal if I know you lol?
  18. By no means are they quick at all, the technology is only familiar to any 19th century industralist, that takes care of it only being 165kw and 165 tonnes lol. I don't buy these old things for speed, it's more the sounds & looks for me. This one is an auto, manuals of this era are like trying to drive Massey Ferguson tractors & changing gears is like stirring coal in my coal bucket.
  19. Done with my phone sorry which doesn't appear to record very good sound. The real sound is quite deep and shakes the windows when I come down the driveway!
  20. Seen this on TradeMe (below) and couldn't help myself, picked it up for $3750, has a few issues (little things) and was in Waimate which is about 2 hours from Dunedin. Went up at 7pm to pick it up and the bloody thing decided to snap it's fan belt which drives the waterpump and alternator about an hour away from home. Because it was like -3 outside the car actually never overheated but we ran out of electricity just as we got to Dunedin so I had to leave it on the side of the road! Not a good start, but it had been owned by a boy who just hadn't looked after it. First thing, replaced the heater taps, coolant hoses & all belts the next day, and put in a new battery just to get it driveworthy. It's had a about a 3" exhaust all the way through and headers installed and it has to be one of the greatest sounding V8's I've had, better than the VR ute I have and better than the CLK-55AMG that I used to have. Question; I have to push a button on the remote to disarm the car, then I have to push another button on a different remote to liven up the ignition. This is a collosal pain in the ass, I don't want any imobilizer on it, I just want to be able to jump in and drive, the car will always be garaged/car ported and we never leave any of our cars on the street or in town anywhere. Can all this sh*t bar the remote locking be ripped out and put back to factory? I'm then going to get all the points, spark plugs, and a full on service with every fluid replaced, gilmer drive belts/pulleys installed, it's then down to the painters to get the front/rear bumpers sorted and painted up, then finally to the groomers to get 21 years worth of grime/shite/smell out. Finally, it's going to be off to the installer guys to have a clean bluetooth hands free headunit installed with 4 new speakers.
  21. Depends on your budget, I've had a Beltronics system hardwired (sensors in front & rear bumpers) and found that brilliant. I think they're about 2-2.5k installed from memory. Otherwise I have a Beltronics Vector, which is about 5 years old now and around 1100 new, this still serves me well.
  22. He's a bit of an animal is Jimmy.
  23. Next we just need a 116i bogger with a Alpina badge to make it a full blown Alpina. We live above the snowline in Dunedin, does that make my two BMW's Al-Pine-ers?
