See my old E53's had the M57TUD30 engines, I would have thought it being 160kw and 500nm that this X3 would have the same motor? The 3.0d went good in the X5, but I imagine remapped and with a little less weight and the Motorsport suspension on that X3...

I've come across this reasonably priced X3 Diesel I'd like to replace the 320d with it, but I know I just couldn't part with that car at the moment, but the X3 would be a good daily especially remapped! So the E46 can hang around for a bit, will probably end up driving it over the X3 like everything else. Is there anything I should be looking for on a car with these kms? Brakes is the first question I asked about and they've apparently been done recently.

Definetley get a warranty! Nice cars, good build quality but when they break they aren't cheap.

Your sig Miles.... I drove a E91 320i and if that has the same engine in it they are bloody gutless. If the 6 cyclinder versions don't use much more fuel, that's where I'd be heading, after driving the 320i and getting back into my 320d when it had a trailer on, the 320d still pulled and went far better.

Same here - recently a guy I know who owns a tyre shop went on one of these excursions, he's never owned a BMW nor cared for them. IMO the programs would be better focused at people actually buying the product.

I doubt it to mr & mrs tax payer. But at a guess I'd imagine any BMW dealership or BMW NZ would jump at them.

Sucks how they don't pass emissions laws, as in Dunedin, following any 90's - early 00's (especially a Toyota or Mitsubishi) Japanese car up & down hills illustrates to me those cars should be off the road as a pose to most things European especially.

I probably would have done a bit of research first as I've just gone through this with a customer who bought 8 iPads for work without any consultation wanting full office suite, exchange & RDP functions. We got there but the labour charge was up there. Would suggest a Windows 7/8 based tablet, personally I'd prefer Windows 7 over 8 !
