  1. This is what I originally asked the accountant for, however they wanted to pursue the courier for the lost product, pretty sure I said this in the original post. We did ask them for the key/link as per original post I guess the courier isn't at fault TOTALLY however why would they leave it where they did? The package was sent to the accountant, the accountant sent it to us without signatory, two days went past and we asked them where the product was, as you do!
  2. I can see that side of it ofcourse, but I haven't been able to help the circumstances, especially the time lost with the Courier driver issue!
  3. That seems worse ha! If you could get that here for 20 and it didn't arrive an upside down cortina...
  4. Also. Look at how tough this sits Motorsport red
  5. Doesn't add up tho! 12.7k landed in nz???
  6. THIS X5 Going off the 5k to bring in and the 7700 to purchase, you'd land that X5 for $12700 ?
  7. Yeah we've been over this, and aprox 5k to get it landed here in NZ. Does anyone have any credible sources / websites over there I could have a quick look at? I've bought a 320i locally which arrives tomorrow/friday but I wouldn't mind having a look about for an 330d or similar. I burgled the 320i so it won't be hard to shift.... also how do we know what year to import that will be easy to get through with regards to emissions/impact laws in NZ.
  8. I had them pay in full as they were new customers and their requirements meant all custom, normally we're 50% upfront and 50% either 7 days after completion or 20th of the following. It's a fairly large business but with mainly larger invoices.
  9. Hi Dave, with regards to newer cars, is this the price someone would pay bar the SIV fee? Cheers.
  10. Could be an option, but I'd prefer not. I thought customers were always right and the vendor was the muppet?
  11. Had a rather irate customer. About five weeks back we done a sale for a server, two laptops, printer e.t.c. over 5k worth. The customer wanted installed about 2 weeks ago, we got the gear in, set everything up, now we just needed to wait for the MYOB accounting package to arrive. Just to add, this customer has been very hard to get a hold of, email and cell, landline. So they rush out with a piece of paper I gave them stating we had a server, and two machines running off the data files located on the server, turns out they didn't get the correct version, because they went to Harvey Norman, they required premier. So, no probs, I tell them I'll take the MYOB (because they couldn't take it back) and you get the correct version, this time they get it from their accountant as per my advisement the first time. Bam, what's the problem? It was sent from central Dunedin to the Valley, but the moron courier driver left it at my front door of our building which is about 1 to 1.5meters from the footpath of one of Dunedin busiest roads nearly two hours before we open in the dark. We then spent two weeks trying to sort it with the courier company who wouldn't front up and then there's the pissing around with their accountant, who I originally advised, if the software has been paid for, contact MYOB they will give me the right info to install without the software package... FYI, the software was about $1000 and sent without a signatory! We finally had it sorted, customer wanted it all installed on Wednesday the 15th 2pm of this month, I have emails confirming this as I couldn't do last week. I get a phone call an hour ago asking where I am, I said on another job, we're scheduled for next Wednesday, so discussions were had & it was all my wrong doing and now they want their money back. I said I'd call tomorrow and let them know what the go is. Anyone in business what would you do? We have more than 5k worth of gear here all designed for them... The labour in pissing around, the labour in setup, the gear itself, the phone calls, MS Office packages already installed, more than 1k worth of O/S all installed to suit them e.t.c... Good times!
  12. Belongs in a collection, can't be many around in this condition?

Don't you worry, I've already looked into that... The benefits aren't there vs the cost though, only 10kw gain and about 20nm. Would notice it, but bugger all I'd say.

She's a done deal, it's being delivered next week. It might be gutless but IMO it is quite a good looking E90. Got it for a good deal

I was kinda hoping the 6 speed manual would sorta remove a bit of the gutlessness ? A facelift motorsport E46 in silver or red likes my eyes.

I'd really like a 320d but not really prepared to spend the extra $$$ on one tbh. I'd say the E90 320d would go better simply because 110kw vs 120kw and 200nm vs 340nm The 320d is also faster to 100kph than the 320i

They're bloody good the E90 320d, balanced car & just enough grunt to put a smile on your face.

I'm pretty keen on THIS BMW 320i. It's an import but it does look pretty tidy in the photos. It's in Christchurch, if anyone is calling past this yard have a quick look for me? Does the 110kw engine in these go ok compared to my 320d E46? I guess it won't be as quick as the E46 but I don't want a car that's gutless, there's two things I hate in this world and it's warm piss and gutless cars! That and there's quite a few hills in Dunedin that I traverse daily... This will replace my E46 as a daily, haven't decided what I'll do with the E46 yet...
  19. The Finance thing is no problem, instead of paying him for the car, you pay the finance company thus releasing the security, simple, whatever is left over goes to the owner. If you want the car, go get it checked out!
  20. The 280kw version is the triple turbo version with 750 or so NM You can get them here in ht X5, not sure about anything else yet. Those engines sound awesome. In Deutschland, they're remappning them and returning over 900nm and 320kw That's gotta be nearly as quick as the Audi V12 diesel! EDIT the new m50d X5 is quicker to 100 than the Audi Q7 V12 6.0 twin turbo diesel...
  21. There was a Le Mans powered V12 X5, but was never put into production.
  22. You could be in having the V12, kinda half a 7 ha.
  23. Dunno about them being illegal as previously mentioned, my GTS Commodore had it factory (bi-modal)
  24. $1 reserve it, ya just never know & it could save ya a trip (s)
  25. What's wrong with an all series meet up lol?
