Yeah totally man, I do the same thing, find good location and at the right time of day etc, make the car look as good as possible. Although gotta let some of the bad be seen, kinda awkward if the pictures do the car too much justice, but its what sold my E36 in a matter of day was good pictures and discription which is equally as important, people want information in front of them and as much information as possible. This is explains why I always need to hack down my discriptions to fit the required amount on Trade Me...

^ Agreed, esspecially on a car like that or any car for a decent amount of money - Sub 10k no one gives a sh*t really

This would have been helpful the other week when my car broke. Cant belive it cost me $180 for my car to be put on a transporter from Herne Bay to Takapuna JC BMW.

I want a cab. Roof shouldnt be too hard and just get some mad skills like me and that interior would be mint in no time!

Our Spitfire was worth WAY more than that but somehow Id way rather have one of these! (working of course!)

Now pretend that I beeped and waved?

White E30 touring on Sarsfeild St in Herne Bay a few days ago, pretty sure the driver waved but maybe I just wish they did. Also saw another E30 Touring last night parked on the side of Dominion Road plate YY something i think. while trying to make it home on 6km of fuel in a mates E46

I am also keen to do this upgrade. Aidan let me know how you get on if you dont mind mate! -
Oh thats pretty cool. someone should make a skin just like a normal BMW speedo. I really need to get one, I dont suppose you know much about when the E39 one will be good enough to get (ie bugs fixed)

So can you choose what picture comes up in the loading window?
-
This thing looks awesome (Except for the Audi loading window, do not want) I got to get one ASAP

Should i trade my 2009 e92 325i to 2007 e92 335i?

Its not the first time, Ive driven it a few times now... -
Nah I agree with you tenfold. Details are very important. In my old car I refused to use my fog lights because I was convinced the colour temperature wasnt the same at the headlights and it looked funny. There are some bulbs I know of that will improve the look of the lights if your interested?

Play dumb. Say you dont even know what they are let alone know how to put them in... haha

A bmw specialist or the proper dealership isnt always an expensive route to take, its sometime cheaper, never hurts to get a quote on the part anyway..

Heres the old thread from the stuff I did on my E36 Here And here are some pics of the stuff I have done on the E39...

Hey Brenton.. There are heaps of thing you can do to your current car to make the interior better. I went through the same thought process when I had my E36. One thing I now seem to do on all my cars is change all of the headlining and pillars to black suede or grey suede. It makes a huge difference to the car. As for the seats it is cheap enough to buy a set of half leathers from Brent or Ray (sponsors) Even last week another mate of mine decided he was fed up with his interior and we went up to Ray and picked up a half leather sports interior and one the way home picked up some suede and we just chucked the seats in and we retrimed the door card inserts with black suede. Looking so much better now. I'll try find some picures of the stuff I have done to my cars so you can get a idea of some options you can do. and if your are running any kind of standard seat and want to change them moving to a sport seat makes a huge difference!

Even if that email is a hoax you should still take that kind of thing pretty seriously. Last year I pulled into the BP on Jervois Road, Herne Bay in my old E36 and was car jacked by 3 guys, like huge dudes. I just pulled in to where the air thing was since I was only buying a bottle of water and a vodafone card and I went in the shop and when I came out was approached and me an my car surrounded. My favourite part was when no one at the petrol station helped me. cool.

Have you got any samples of your work with 5-series?

New Member Still to get first car....
bimmer boy replied to Furai's topic in New Member Introductions
Like the enthusiasm Keiran.. As the others have said be prepared to spend money on it, not saying its going to break all the time but chances are you will fall in love with the E30 and want to do all sorts of mods to it. E30 is far more superior to the Subi Ace your looking at and most other cars of the same vintage. Luckily a lot of the really crap E30's have gone to the dump now, but there are still a few around but a lot of really mint ones around so try get your hands on a well spec'd or at least a mint one, you will thank me for it later. Dont let anyone put you off getting one.. My first car was a E30 and everytime I sell one I want to get another one. Welcome by the way.. -
I picked it up from leatherseats.com a while ago when I bought the car..They dont list the Alcantara on the website but a friend of mine in the states has used them before and picked me up 4 Yards of it for around $450 NZD Cheers mate. I used 3M Hi-Stregnth 90 Spray adheisive. Picked 3 cans up from Gordan Harris in Newmarket for about $40 a can. Its the only kind of glue you want to use in this application so Im told as other degrade and become unstuck in heat... Yeah, so seriouses... haha
