I'm afraid someone else will have to arrange this meet as I'm not the best at the moment. I have my good times and I have my bad ones as well and I've slipped back into a bad time. BTW. The BMWCC have changed the day of their meet to Waitangi day, so if we are going to have a meet, then Anniversary Day would be better. 1Rotty, are you back in NZ yet?

Thanks for all the kind posts. As far as a meet goes, I would prefer Waitangi Day as I have a cruise to go on with the BMW Car Club on Anniversary day. So, where and what? Put up some ideas and we'll get things rolling.

Hi guys, I'm back. It's been a few months since I've been on the forum, at 66 years of age I'm starting to show my age, but I have been rather ill and ended up in Middlemore for a while. Then we moved out of our house so that it can be redecorated and sold, and there was quite a gap between leaving the house in early Nov till we moved into our current place late last year, so I was without an internet connection for a long time. Anyway, everythings sorted now and I will be back on the forum on a regular basis in future. Seems like we have quite a few new members? Must organise a get together so that get to know each other.

Probably got a dodgy front wheel

As per my thread, She will be all over the North Island. I want to live near a good bar. A nice quiet homely sort of place, not a booze barn. Thanks for all the info guys.

My partner has to move to Hamilton as she has been made Regional Manager of the North Island area south of the Bombays. Now neither of us know Hamilton at all, and, as we will have to rent a house there, I am keen to know which suburbs to avoid and at the same time, what are the better suburbs. We are looking to rent a 3 bedroom single story house with a double garage and are prepared to pay up to $400.00 per week. What can I expect for that sort of money in a reasonable area?

Why don't you buy mine then. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=505316316

The car will need to be re=complied. Once a vehicle has been unregistered for 12 months it must be recomplied. Just take it to your local VTNZ, they will do it for you. Cost $600/700. plus registration.

Which motor does it have? Vanos or not. It makes a difference. Auto or manual, and I don't believe it's a motorsport. With a blown head gasket, auto and non vanos, around $4-4,500.00

It certianly is Glenn.

Yes, the car is in Japan, or will be for about a week, then it's on it's way home. Should have it ready to sell in about 5-6 weeks. This pic is the other side of the dash as someone requested.

I am importing a 1963 MkII 3.8 Jaguar which has been rebuilt by Beachams of Hastings. The car would have cost in excess of $100,000 when first purchased from Beachams, but I'm asking $35,000 firm. Beacham Jags are completely rebuilt from the ground up and are far better than a new one. This car has Power steering and Air conditioning. If anyone, or any associates are interested, then PM me please.

Julian, What partf Auckland do you live in? If it's near Papatoetoe, then you're welcome to use my garage to polish your car. PM me or text me on 021393334

Should you Sam, or whoever purches the car, decide to turn it into a race car, I would be very keen on buying the seats.

What is wrong with the gearbox, or is it a Jatco?

As far as the K&N filter is concerned, just get their panel filter which fits directly into the existing air box, but before you fit it, take out the air restictor in the air box to increase the air flow. Works every bit as well as a pod filter without having to modify the area around the filter.

The car was first registered in NZ in 2003 however it turned out to be a 9th month 2002 build, therefore only a 5 speed. The SMG was buggered. After contacting a technician from Team McMillen I found out that the car had been there on several occasions re transmission and short of replacing the lot, it hadn't been able to be repaired, so I walked away from it.

Wrong colour Wrong transmission and no leather, but thanks for the thought.

Try Earnst at Bavarian Motors Ltd. in Glenfield. Not too far from where you work.

This sale is now off. After test driving the 330Ci I am not at all happy with it and definately won't be buying it, so C0SM0S has a new lease of life with me.

What an utter waste of time. Do what most people do. Change your oil and oil filter regularly and you won't want rubbish like that
-
What colour are you after? I have plenty of Cosmosswartz touch-up paint if that's any good.
-
It's a 330ci //M coupe, NZ new, 2 owners , SMG trans and of course in black.
