Can someone help me with the diameter of my 2-door 1988 E30 318i's shocks? I know my E30 325i had 51mm shocks but I think the 318's are smaller - Around 47mm?

Would be cool if someone could confirm.

Oops! indeed you are correct. Yeah dude, seems to go well. I meant tidy more in the asthetic sense and making your engine harness, vac and blowby tubes less of a birds nest.

3" Turbo exhaust outlets also make a good and seat-of-the-pants difference, pretty cheap on tardme too; if you had not looked at one already.

Oh and go lower, no more shitty M20 sump smashing!

Cool swap btw mate, a little bit of tidying up and you should be good to go. You could also look into swapping an NA S14 TB on as they are bigger than their 13/14/15 Turbo counterparts which makes for a pretty cheap and easy upgrade.

edit: My 3.64 was revving at ~2200rpm at 100kmh. I like the ratio

haha sorry buddy, snapped up quickly. I liked the ratio, couldnt tell you what the RPM was at 100km though.

Although im sure one of the guru's on here know to work out what the RPM would be?
