  1. pull the rocker cover off,see if any rockers arent broken!! pull out the sparkplugs and see if any are damaged? while the plugs are out try turn the engine over, could be that the cam gear was not properly fastened???
  2. check small vacume hose on fuel regulator if fuel is comming out of it/ if so the fuel regulator is leaking excess fuel into the manifold
  3. the south african e23 745 came out in a 6 cylinder twincam, but the 745turbo had the single cam and used a kkk k26 turbo
  4. in the gearbox there is a double-piston in the valve body that normally breaks in half causing the pressure difference thus causing harsh gearchange that i have found the later boxes have a modified piston-i think some older fords also use the same gearbox
  5. not sure about ur car but if it was a e46 320d facelift i would tell u forsure it was the gearbox especially when cruising-was the oil change recently?did they put in the right g/box oil
  6. both 320 and 323 and 525ee use the same head(valve sizes) uptp 87 if i remember correct then the valve sizes became bigger like 325-cams will work in all heads.will see if i can get the different specs on durattion on cams for much better performance get a motronic system(less intake pipes that will crack) and chip it-will have better performance and fuel economy no other engine mods neccessary
  7. in south africa there were alot of these 325tds running around,had to replace a few chains in my time.
  8. only draw back to the m51 motor is that the timing chain stretches-causing hard starting and the crank thrust wears out(eaiest way to check crank wear is to check front vibration damper to see if it has a silver ring polished into it by the belt tensioner-with original belt fitted) but onther wise good motor
  9. another way if u dont have a pressure bleeder is to connect a 3mm pipe to the left front caliper and to the slave cylinder,then u pump the brakes and it bleeds the slave from the bottom forcing out all the air-clutch in no time!!!

  12. ews-pin4(gn) changes to(sw/vi) pin 10 dme. there is a relay at steering coloum if it was a auto(sw/ge) for the auto-park
  13. there is no ews wiring in ur car,u will have to have it wired in,the a/c fan wiring must also be modded(m44 electrical panel)
