Ok, so they have brought out a new twin turbo z4 engine? But it aint the same as in the 1M
-
What are you talking about a z4 motor for? The 335i doesnt have a z4 motor because its a twin turbo, z4 isnt a twin turbo motor, the 1 Series M has the same as the 135i and the 335i but with the motorsport engine in it wich is hotted up a bit and puts out around 350hp+.

Thank god none of us can afford to buy these cars and stick with our wonderful "older" cars. I wonder if people thought the same back in the 90s about the e30s/e36s. I still think the earlier e36s are horrible with the different colour body kit.

A mate and I are heading to some Pick a Part in Mt Wellington tomorrow (not pick a part but similar) for some springs for his e30, will keep an eye out around the Mt Welly/Onehunga/Penrose area for you

Sorry if this has been started already, but can't find a topic on it. Anyone that plays/knows about Call Of Duty, probably the funniest video if you understand it. Pretty old but funny as hell!
-
Wow never heard of that before, could be perfect for the car! Thanks
-
Yeah i know, its handy with it, but nah i got to put a new head deck in there for the sub and amps.

Just bought a NZ New 2004 318i Motorsport Station Wagon. 97k on the clock, leather, lowered, tints, towbar (that doesnt stay on the car but can be put on when needed wich is handy) Cruise control. Everything but a sunroof Plans for it are to install the sounds out of my old car either today or next weekend, possibly lower it a bit more, black kidney grills and hopefully get some new rims on it when the finances are right.

The one at BMW is white, and the old man went for a test drive in it yesterday. Same motor as in the 335i but obviously alot lighter

1 Series M has arrived in New Zealand for a sneak preview of the car, what an amazing looking car this is, and also very fast. With the BMW M Twin Turbo six cylinder in line engine putting out 340hp and a massive turbocharged torque of 500 Nm from 1,500 revs. Output hp/kW - 340/250 Torque Nm - 450 + 50 (with overboost) 0-100km/h - 4.9 0-200km/h - 16.9 Consumption Litres per 100k - 9.6 Comments?

I didn't know Golfs came in 4x4's? When you going to actually lower it like Declan's Brook?
-
LOL, was on facebook couple days ago and a mate had that link on his page and was telling everyone how hes about to buy it etc etc and join a VW crew in it. Might flick him a text to see how he got on with buying the car that you now own
-
Ok, so found out one was a Z and the other was a W, but surely it shouldnt matter as they are the highest speed rating you can get? And 280k is illegal here anyway. Oh well never mind, all solved , borrowed some tyres, got the wof, then put the tyres back on
-
Yeah true, thats the dumb thing about WOF's, sometimes they dont even check half the stuff they are supposed to, but sometimes they check every little detail, Ah well
-
Thanks for the help. Much appreciated. I just can't see why it failed this time and not the other times. Oh well whats done is done, we have to order new tyres for it now.
-
also the argument that it should pass because its better than crappy cars is fairly redundant her car is probably fairly run down compared to a 2010 car but a 2010 can still fail a warrent Sorry, i was meaning cars like my mates 92 Mazda thats done 400k+ with rust all over the place and looking like a dog still passes. And im just confused as it's passed before with those tyres and wheels on it.
-
Sorry yeah was speed rating. But they are all the same sizes and brands. Its gotten a warrant before with them but this time failed. Was quite weird.
-
Ok, so my sisters car was in need of a warrant. Took it down there and it failed because of the speed rotation on the tyres was different? What does that mean?? I dont understand, you've got your typical run down mitsi's and toyotas worth less then her four sets of tyres and they pass the majority of the time yet hers fail? Just wanting to know why?
-
What sort of rims you got on there? They looked like x5 wheels? Bit hard to tell though as you werent stationary.

Hey man, sounds good, but pictures is a must
