  1. I think i would prefer just a slightly deeper more uniform colour coverage without too much shine. They are not formal dress boots or anything but i feel they are a bit scruffy looking and hence dont wear them. So i thought i may try a product and a bit of rubbing with a rag or brush to see how it turns out.

  2. Yea i was contacting him and accepted 7.5 without front shocks but he bailed and so i decided to just install them. The prev ones were crashing everywhere cuz it turned out to be for non msport models.
much better now and too bad if i dont get my money back on it. At least its nicer to drive while i have the car and looks like it may be staying judging by the quiet market.

  3. ^ that car and plate looks very familiar, i think its an ex-members car.

Im genuinely curious because I havent had much interest on the 130i i have listed on here and on trademe.

Its one of the lowest kms for the price with new headlining and bilsteins all round. Cosmetically has some scratches on bumpers but otherwise drives as it should without any problems. Is it too expensive?? Honestly just thinking to keep it if I cant sell it for 8k..

  4. I have a pair of boots that I want to try polish up and make it look a bit nicer. Its very dry and cracked with scuff marks etc

anyone know whats the best way to go about this? Recommended shoe repair shops (and estimate price so i dont get ripped off) or products to diy?

    thanks!

  5. Also sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Hope it doesnt affect your quality of life too much.

Re your M135 that you had to sell on, it has ended up back on trademe for sale for a very reasonable price!

If anyone in wellington is looking for something locally then worth a look I think!

I have had quite a bit of seat time with those A250 as well as an A45 AMG as well as CLA250 and CLA45 AMG's and I think they are pretty cool/fun cars. I find that the A45 rides very stiff though and the A250 is actually a much more pleasant daily drive. The gear knob needs a bit of getting used to though!

Also looking for window tint recommendations in Auckland.

wrong size tyres to suit a 1 series. mags itself should be fine but you will need to size down on tyres

There was a blue 2004 E46 318i sedan on facebook the other day.  It looks really nice in person but needs a battery or something.

looks very nice but the N42 2L isnt exactly known for its reliability.. older M43 1.9L is much better no?

  8. love the name franklin and the significance!

I reckon those wheels wont cost too much to fix up if you spent the time to split it and get the lips repaired and polished back to shiny chrome.

the door cards came up very nice after the clean!

Also, blacklion tyres are alright.. Is it the BU66?

nothing amazing but if they are in good condition with tread left I think its not a disaster tbh.

Most important is probably an oil change and coolant flush!

  9. Sorry to hear you are having to sell it on but this was/is an amazing car for sure if anyone is looking for a nice comfortable touring.

Extra info for any potential buyers, during our ownership we did:

Trans fluid service done at BM Workshop, engine mounts (left + right), trans mounts, oil pan gasket, drive belt idler pulley, belt tensioner, serpentine belt, valve cover gasket, valvetronic gasket, cam cover gasket

Car market seems to be bone dry at the moment but GLWS!
