    Indy F1

I read the FIA release on it, and they actually had a pretty good reason for not putting in the chicane, If teams don't turn up with the correct equipment why penalise any other team, they had the option of just going slower through that corner, but the Michelin teams would rather bring everybodys speed down to match theirs in that particular case. which doesn't make for exciting racing but with the Senna case still dragging on, nobody want's another death on the track. It was a real shame, sucks to be Michelin, but boo hoo, if you can't cut it in a mans world there is no point crying about it.

oil pressure is definitely useful I got the little digital voltmeter from jaycar with the built in stopwatch, thats pretty cool when you are mucking about with stereo's, tells you when its time to start the car! just wired into the sunroof switch.
  4. $360 a year comprehensive no claims ever and I'm getting old helps though along with Fire Ex, 4 immobillisers and 2 alarms I'm a belt and suspenders man

  12. I thought it was looking rather spiffing
  13. I can get some Sava Intensas directional, should be pretty hard 205/50R15, should be able to do them for roughly 145-150 at a guess
  14. they only make the 901s in a few sizes now. they have the DZ101's and the new sportmaxx for the dunlop performance tyres I haven't tried the sportmaxx yet but they are supposed to be pretty bloody good and I wouldnt flame you petone, all brands have at least one good tyre well maybe not all brands, but I'd be dumb not to take note of what else is out there. I always liked the old Yoko A008's they were an awesome tyre
  15. no, 205/60R14 or the 225's thats all in that tyre
  16. ok here we go these are Bimmersport Prices BTW. dont make a 225/55R15 unfortunately but 215/60R15 FM901 $165, a seriously badass tyre, dont make these in many sizes anymore, most are now the Direzza DZ101, but I love the 901's 225/50R15 W10 $170, once again an older tyre as they only seem to come out on the 94+ MR2's as a rear, but still a high performance tyre, never owned a set personally but Tommy runs them on his pimp luxorbeige, albeit in a smaller size. 205/50R15 Direzza DZ101, $170 new version very cool, run them on my car at the moment in a 225/45R17 you have to make it go sideways it wont happen by accident. ask ///Carl for a review, put a set on his car recently. I like them. 195/45R15 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, $180 I'm just chucking this one in here cos its a bit of an unusual size that would probably be the lowest profile 15 you are likely to see. Have owned these tyres, seriously kick bottom in the wet. if you need any other prices just ask, I'll try to answer promptlyish :pimp:

  20. On the damage thing, I once saw a car in a roller type car wash, get its window wiper ripped off, which got stuck in the roller and proceeded to beat the sh*t out of the car with its own wiper, not pretty, dumb bugger should have driven out, but just sat there and took it, needless to say he made sure the gas station paid for it
  21. I was waiting for one of the Bimmersport 3 step reps to bring that up glad to see you didnt disappoint Carl
  22. thought I would try one out in J'ville last night before the car trial lots of fun even though I came last by a long long way. go to the next one! anywho, the jets got under my rear corner bumper trim and popped that baby right off, didnt notice until I got back to town, rung the gassy, pretty helpful in a just got stoned to see me through the nightshift kind of way. until it actually came to do anything, my mate rocked in there on his way home 11ish and it was still sitting right in the middle of the carwash , so that was cool dont have to buy one. got the carwash at 7pm couldnt believe it was still there at 11 and hadnt been run over repeatedly
