  1. hi all, i have a 96 e36 coupe, when it went thru compliance it had all the pads changed and i believe the rear rotors also (front rotors were not changed but are borderline)..... and now i have a lovely squeaking every time i touch the brakes which i and bmworkshop assume is because they have put in crappy aftermarket pads. I am Wanting to replace all the pads, front rotors and back if necessary (they may have also used crap rotors). So my question is should i be buying OEM BMW rotors and pads OR can someone recommend some good aftermarket ones? thanks in advance.
  2. the launches have been pushed back but the installation of equipment is still proceeding (however slowly)
  3. it is only secret until it is announced and project has begun (both of these things have occurred), it is impossible to keep it secret when u have contractors and subcontractors driving around with the equipment and work orders.
  4. hmmm are you sure hes getting what hes paying for? because the gsm/umts equipment that is down stairs in its crate is most definitely not "far more advanced" i can guarantee you.
  5. hi, if you are talking about the gsm/umts network that they are "building", i wouldn't be holding out for something better than vodafone's network .... as telecom in all the wisdom are using crappy old alcatel-lucent equipment which was decommissioned in the Philippines 5 years ago coz it was complete and utter rubbish. GG telecom

  9. hi all, not sure if this is the right section to be posting in, but anyway, i'm a bmw n00b looking to buy a e36 323 2.5L 1996 auto coupe, the ones in my price range (8-9k) are around the 100,000km mark and was hopping someone could shed any light on the following. 1. cambelt or chain driven? 2. cost of cambelt replacement aprox? 3. what else should be done at the 100k service? (waterpump?) 4. common faults to look for when inspecting? and these last 3 everyone is probably sick of hearing but i cant seem to find a straight answer newhere: 5. can i run/ should i run ... 95,96 or 98 petrol. 6. How big is the tank? 60L? 7. and how many k's should i expect to get to a tank or per 100km? Thanks all in advance, and sry if these are dumb questions.
