I wouldn't believe the 14hp gains.. although depends on how restrictive the existing setup is (which in BMW's usually isn't to bad) If you've got a latermodel BMW (e36+) you can always debaffle the airbox (rip on it's innards) to get some decent sound and allow the air to flow through a bit better. Yeah *sic, we've got 2 hondas... 84' Civic with no interior and a boring as 92 accord.

I'm all for a decent CIA. Cheap as chips and easy to do... E30's have been realatively blessed when it comes to CIA installation, only need a tiny bit of extension piping.. Making a heatshield over Christmas when I have access to the tools, Using the existing stock pipe which goes into the airbox to blow onto the pod. Should be phat. Hrm... With leather you slide around everywhere... They get sticky on hot days (some people like that... ) Leather does as you pointed out look nice, and it is all class.. Sports seats are great, particularly if they are not leather (no slide!) and look badass... And yea, they do hold you quite well. If that was me in your shoes, I'd swap.

The last few owners must have loved letting thier car sunbathe... :banghead: Dash is rather cracked (brought it with a mat over it) Is it possible to fix this (with decent results) or anywhere where it can be professionally done? It's got about 5 or so cracks extending the width of the dash (from the windscreen back) Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm perfectly happy with the performance of my car at the moment, I'm just more after the fun factor of a manual gearbox. I'm prepared to pay a reasonable (reasonable... just re-iterating... ) price if you have one.. My car.. 1986 318i M-10 Engine. Chur.

I think the colour is royal blue, I've had a hell of a hard time finding exactly what colour it is (looked for the code aswell as the badge some BMW's have ie.. 'Alpine Weiss') Can't find it anywhere... Needed this information to match the paint on getting the bumper re-sprayed (and attached properly! some half ass has used screws to hold it..) also getting every tiny stonechip taken care of, and anything that looks remotely out of place! ie.. Wasn't there when it was first purchased Yeah 15" weaves are nice... After being in a lowered (not sure of suspension, wasn't cut) Integra (not sure of any details of this car either) with 17" mags, the ride was aweful - try sitting on a jackhammer.... This has put me off really going over 15", bigger the wheels, the less practical it seems to become (especially when lowered) My cars enough of a problem when I'm parking at malls up against gutters, as I'm always aware of the front lip (due to the lack of clearance!)
