    Mtech1 Front Bumper

Selling due to my 318i got written off (was going to fit it to it) and the 320i I just brought already had one and the green 320i I also just picked up (today) is only a parts car - O and it won't fit the 325i because its FL.
  2. Cheers Martyyn - Will have a good read over it. Got any answers to my listed questions people? The red light is killing me.

    Mtech1 Front Bumper

I've put a buy now, however reserve is lower. Gus, Pics as requested. (BTW - I didn't fill it in, Previous owner was kind enough to) Found out any more about your car Gus? To Welly I estimate around $30, don't quote me on that though.

    Worst e30 ever?

I'm surprised how much the square lights modernise the E30 shape... The guy who owns the yellow and black E30 is the one holding the other dude in his arms http://www.angelfire.com/md3/kew312/normkeithclose.jpg

    e30 back seats

The back seats are only too high because you keep letting in lanky car sluts, Find some under 4 feet high and it will look perfectaly normal.
  7. Another question: Under the instrument panel (directly below the temperature gauge) sticking out of the plastic sill that is above the steering coloumn is an illuminated square red light with 'EXH TEMP' on it. As I've never encountered one of these, I have utterly no idea as to what this means? Can anyone help out? Also note, 14" Basketweaves don't fit over SA 320i front brakes - don't want to put spacers on so may be selling (pm please)

    Worst e30 ever?

You dumbass, It's only because he's not finished
  9. Mean.. Got the engine working - charged the battery overnight and away she goes, albeit firing on 3 cylinders, Need to check the dizzy, leads, sparks tommorow. The broken hub/disc was an easy fix, $150 for a second hand 325i (SA 320i's had beefier 325i struts) strut and it's done. It's still got a current warrant - pity someone deregistered the car

    Owned

Damn, that sucks the big one. Donor chassis + swap all the parts? That would be all good.... Side skirts + rear bumper....
  11. Also interested in the reply of this topic, I'm sure I've read it somewhere else before but can't for the life of me remember if it's possible or not.

    Flared guards

Those gaurds my friend are off an E30 M3, They come factory like that (Steel pressed, not fiberglass or plastic) There is (was) an M3 replica kit on trademe which had all the pieces to give your standard E30 those lovely wide arches. Some companies (Can't point you to anyone off the top of my head) do make them as I've seen a few around over the net. You'll also notice in that pic the rake of the rear windscreen is different and the boot lid is higher. Isn't it only the bonnet which it shares with the regular E30?
  13. Front lip is an Mtech 1, I've got two now (I purchased one for the departed 318i, this one came with it so one for sale) Yeah definately, Need to lose the white cards.... (white vinyl painted door cards) Other than that it's pretty good - Gloss black paintjob......... Also, Does anyone know what needs to be taken into account in order to get this recertified (it has been deregd) Or have I just brought myself a parts car
  14. Yeah it's a 4 door, also has cruise control - no idea if it works yet as it's hard to drive a car I've yet to start with a broken hub. Not sure about the suspension, It's certainly higher than I'm used to.... From appearance alone. Here are some pics... (On the right) Phat 17's aye bo' 'Custom' Interior - I've got your pm richx (will get back to you by the end of the week) Wheel again... Sorry it's a bit blurry - gives you an idea of ride height. A sheep among the wolves!
  15. Hey all, Just picked up a South African 320i (Damaged car auctions at tuners) To my knowledge it's just the wheel hub that needs fixing then should be good - o and the interior is 'custom' (I have a knack at picking up cars like this...) The seats are black and white vinyl - professionally done so I'm sure it will grow on me) however the door cards have been done on the cheap and look nasty so I'll be on the hunt for new ones - Expect to see me hunting for bits in the WTB soon.... That and two curbed 17's that need fixing (score, brand new 215 tyres on all of them) O yeah, My old written off 318i was parked next to it in the yard Now the questions... Being South African, Are there any additional features that come standard with it? I'm assuming the large hollow thing behind the seats taking up some of the boot is a long range fuel tank. There's a switch that has (|>---<|) next to the hazards on the centre panel which can be moved from left to right (Something to do with the lights?) And thats all I can initially find... Any help on this would be much apprcieated.

    ZENDER

Kit looks good aside from the wing imo. What bumpstop325 said, Some foglights in there are a must.
  17. Brilliant scores, should come up nicely. No other damage on it?

    Sweet..

Well, Yeah that was just my opinion and I realise peoples taste vary.It doesn't look like complete sh*t, I mean underneath it's still a BMW albiet riding 4 feet off the ground on big wheels and a rocket pipe... Actually, sh*t is the wrong word - 'wrong' is the correct word, I'm sure you'll admit that just doesn't 'look' right. We've all made post and linked to sites going "omg look at this car" with riced up things, it's the same deal with that one. It's not yours, if it was I'd be more restrained. Back on topic: Anywho... IMO chromes only look good with darker coloured cars....

    Cool Exhaust

http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/auction...asp?id=26256460 Great pile of sh*t, Sounded wonderful on my car. Nearly killed my hearing but at least the skanks looked at the car from the side of the road. Tell your friends with Skylines to buy it. O and if I catch anyone from here bidding on it.... :rambo:

Nah, No-one hurt - People kept stopping next to the car to have a look just after a blind corner though... Morons. Driver being done for careless driving - Anyone know what penalties come with that?
  23. Mint, building up a contingent here... Another Cantab. Nice car, I think I've seen it around. Where in Christchurch are ya?

It's definately a write off, Would need new suspension componants basically all around, new exhaust system, new underside of car from being so badly ripped up... The whole frame is bent to the exent of the back pop out not being able to close and the paint is chipping on the other side indicating that the force passed through the roof. Ontop of that, the passenger door doesn't open as the whole front fender has moved with the subframe about 4cm. He basically cut the corner, put the left front wheel into a ditch, the left rear followed.. The whole side of the car (the side I was on...) went along the ditch (which is covered with concrete) and over a few large rocks which were also covered - re: this is where nearly all of the damage occured. By about 10m up from where we entered the ditch the whole car was off the road, note the skid lines leading from completely off the road. Then the car did a 180, as the front wheels were presumeably in full lock as he tried to get the car out of the ditch which consequently spun the car around then we rolled over the edge of the bank to a stop due to the diff catching on a pile of dirt... This is up the port hills BTW (the not so fun place to crash your car) The corner prior to where the car came off, the yellow lines obviously indicating the cars travel. The concrete errosion prevention ditch, further up there is a rock which has been covered which I assume has caused most of the damage. Where the car left the ditch. Where the car finally stopped, just over the edge. The back of the car could be visible from the road. A not so lucky Rotary owner either lost his car (or his life) 20m down from where my car ended up.

Don't let other people drive your car...... Happened last Friday, Cars been assessed as a write off. Will try to buy it back as a parts car.
