    Ferrari ???

Bloody expensive MR2 then. Looks nice though. What did it sound like?
  2. And you forget to mention the fastest 5 series. At 19.44 and 4th equal. Didn't I qualify for the smokiest run too? Great day though. Looking forward to another day down that way.
  3. E30 M3 for being a classic. McLaren F1 is the best however (the road car, not the F1 team). The latest M5 has to be the best saloon on earth. Followed by every other series M5 back to the original.
  4. The chassis should be more rigid in a 2 door car, than in a 4 door. Less flex, more consistancy in car set-up. Obviously a good roll-cage can help even these differences out.
  5. Leather Sports seats are great!
  6. Sorry guys. Here is all I know. Charles at Jerry Claytons has a 325is for sale. 135k, white, black leather 021 224 7140. That's it from me. Someone can tell me what it's like. I'm off for a haircut and then to The Austrian alps. See you all in late Nov. Prost! And, no I'm not skiing.
  7. There is meant to me a white one being available from a service guy at Jerry Claytons currently pretty cheap. Outside of that I know nothing about it. Peter told me Gus.

    This link is great! http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/rainbo...tv_episode.html
  9. Salt effects the chemical characteristic of water. In this case, it's triple point, where H2O exists in all three states (I'm ignoring plasma as a state). Gas, Liquid & Solid. It reduces the temperatures that water freezes and boils. Hence why you add it to water to boil pasta. The exact opposite of glycol in your radiator.
  10. The VT was the only 4WD Diablo. The LM002 was the first road 4WD (the cathedral they drove last night). I think you'll find that as they started out making Tractors, they was a 4WD one of them first. Can't gaurentee it though. Don't knock the Gallardo, it's a brilliant car. Just like the Murcielago the pedal offset is wrong as you are sitting in the passengers seat. Ciao

    SITDWN

C'mon Grant. You're not there yet. Remember, it's a 3 ring circus. Engagement ring, Wedding ring & Suffering.
  12. Well done Grant! Congrats to you both.
  13. Here's the user guide for a Snap-on compression tester. I'd find someone who has one and borrow it for a day. snap_on_compression.pdf
  14. Not having a Bentleys to read. I'd guess it is one of the relays in the Fuse box under the bonnet. Mine's on the LHS against the Firewall. Couldn't tell you which relay it is though. Cover only numbers the fuses.

    Hrmm...

If you are interested in some Enkei's, go down to Mag & Turbo in New Lynn. Ask for Glen. He's ex-McMillans and should do you a good deal and give good advice. Get some light ones. Don't just get flash ones. Weight is your enemy.

  18. Sorry, I forgot an important piece of info. Owned & operated for 90 days.
  19. You port and polish heads, not extractors.
  20. Currently you need to 'own & operate' a LHD in the country it is being imported from. And then not sell it for 5 years to avoid converting it. Therefore, it is worth it if you buy something exotic. Not worth it for something common. The E30 320iS in Italian spec is an even better buy. I'm just trying to figure out an excuse to say I've been living in Italy to justify buying one of those and not convert it. Still doing research on it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

  23. I have made enquiries on behalf of a mate who has an E36 328i for a set of custom made jobs. A weeks work, so $3000 approx. Yes, that is expensive, ex F1 & BMW motorsport mechanic doing the work and he does awesome stuff. As with everything, you get what you pay for.
  24. Boot lid and spoiler for the E30 M3 Cabrio is the same as the E30 325i. Looks the same as photos I have of them.
