OT but how much did the set of wheels set you back? Mint looking car bar the kidney grill but thats me.

^ Nah man it's more red than that. Only ever seen two other e30s in NZ in that color, one of them was a guy who sold one on here with all the schnitzer bits on it.

God I love it. A local guy round here has a Pearlecenty Yellow one, sounds gorgeous. Wish my dad would trade one of our focuses in for one of these..or a V6 Clio Sport Enjoy the car man.

As seen here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=253582 My old E30 is not worth repairing so I am on the hunt for a new E30. Would ideally like something: - Face lift - Coupe shell - Complete interior - Manual, but beggars can't be choosers if it is an auto. - No major rust - WOF isn't important - Registration or registration on hold preferred - 6 cylinder (preferably 325i), but can live with a 4 cylinder 318i (if it is a 318i auto I would be interested as can convert myself). ^ The above is not essential, feel free to let me know what you have. Won't mind helping organise a car sent down from any major city if a deal could be negotiated in the price. I am just after a tidy shell, interior and a motor as have essentially brand new suspension, brakes, driveline, tyres etc from my old car, but don't mind an entire complete car. Looking to spend probably 3000 to 4000 for a complete car and under 1,500 for just a shell. If you have anything, feel free to PM me, post here or give me a call or text on 0277405464. Cheers, Nathan

Hmmm this could be interesting. I will be holding out for pics.

Hey thanks again for all the well wishes guys. On closer inspection car has a few kinks in the chassis rails so to the scrappies it goes, it is fixable but not financially viable on a student budget when you include panel and paint for such a rare color (can't find guards in Calypso Red anywhere etc). Have spent the last day stripping the car down, will be plenty of stuff for sale to fund new car in due course. Have been enquiring on several shells with various motor combo's etc. Won't say to much yet to get my hopes up too high. And yeah Jon, there are are couple coupes on e30tech with roof racks..looks so sick haha. Won't lie it is the most heart wrenching after spending the last 8 months modifying this and hundreds of man hours underneath it..only to have to tear it down again

Well shes home, and she ain't so pretty anymore

Thanks again everyone. Apex, mate don't worry your fxgt came off a lot worse than mine, looks like you were bloody lucky to survive that! Here is a pic of the car for those that missed the link of my project thread in the OP, will be interesting to look at a before and after once the car is home. Here:

Hey mate, is the car still available?
-
Hey bro, what kind of 'cosmetic' rust has this got? Would text you but lost your number lol. And some interior pics would be sick.
-
I like the way you think man, welcome (again)
-
^ Yeah bro she did. Will just get the car back and see that status. Not the best timing for this sh*t with an assignment due tmoro morning
-
^ Haha aw yeah what a sweetie. She gave me a text BTW if you get an LSD...I might buy your locky off you

They are like pixie caramel, caramel, braided together covered in chocolate

Thanks again guys, am really pissed off atm, but I guess with things like this you gotta look on the brightside. Nobody got hurt, it's only a car and it's only money. After all the positive comments about my car has given me a reason to get another '30 looking snappy and stand out from the crowd I am just looking forward to getting the car back and moving to being back on the street in a '30. Oh and Max, I am fine, running is all good, cheers for asking bro.
