New exhaust fitted today, is loud as I love it and makes it sound more like a race car, and got rid of the dirty singaporean cat too. Got the seat rail re welded too, make it a bit stronger, is now fitted back to the seat with my fire extinguisher. Pimp as race stickers arrived in the mail and have been fitted. Pics to come

Nah it has always had it, I only really noticed it on the track before I modded it, its like its stuttering/hesitating and not getting enough air/fuel mix right or something. I am sure its something to do with the AFM/Intake area. Cheers Moonbeams, I will get onto that Its like I put my foot down to rev it out, and it either stutters completely (like dies) or it just has a sudden loss of power and feels like its only making 50hp let alone 100 and then it clicks back to normal, (always at full throttle in the higher rev range i.e 4k plus for a 1600 motor, red line is 6,5 Any advice or pointers is appreciated. Has had new plugs, oil change etc

^ I was waiting for someone to say it. Just wait till I skool you on the track. Does anyone have any serious pointers to what It could be? Have had the AFM cleaned, oil change, new spark plugs. What about intake boot leaking? Mine is cracked but not split

So been for a few spirited drives now, and have a flatspot in 2nd and occasionally third gear where it feels like the car wants to surge but it can't like it wants to back fire. I was thinking maybe the airflow meter or a loss of vacume somewhere? Anyone with any pointers would be appreciated. m40 1.6 Custom Airbox and Pod Filter. Cheers, Nathan

+1 I just use sockets with the angle of the seat changed with the handle, either up or down depending on which side I need to unbolt

In the other videos you have on there, that thing sounds gorgeous, especially the from 55mph one. Love it -

^ Cheers man but I'm pretty skinny. Bit of progress tonight, got all my wiring/lighting problems sorted and the rear seat and belts refitted, just need to rebleed the brakes and fit the swaybars and we will be warrantable (I hope). Nathan

Ya my mind might change, just need to see how things go next few weeks, am having heaps of hold ups. Guess got plenty of time to play with. Really just want to meet some of the guys up north and see some cars. But yeah see how we go, have the v8 supercars the weekend b4 so may be short on cash regardless haha

Doesn't look like I will do the first one. Dad hasn't got his car sorted and I still have to find money to pay for a authority card, helmet and overalls. I would rather do the cruise atm 2bh anyway

Pippa Wetzel is a babe, agreed.

I had this problem. Lucky found some old ones, when we go to the dump to weigh our cars there is a old recycling center store there, probably find some there. Or Can go halves with you on a 2x 4 piece of alloy for 37.00 each haha
