Even putting a flashing LED in the console would deter some thieves...a simple no entrusive way of 'security' and cheap. Im sure there was a thread about this ^ a while back

On a side note, it is just tape so you could try and if you dont like it just take it off and leave it black/change the stripe color

In the process of now turning my car to look essentially like this: Can I have both front headlights yellow like that? I checked in the road code its says Two good headlights that can be dipped when another vehicle comes towards you. All good, and then it says: Two white or amber position lights at the front. Can I get away with full yellow? I know of one guy on here who had a 325 with his high beams yellow and just wondered if he had any problems/I can get away with that. Thanks, Nathan
