Took my dads 7 series in for servicing a couple of months back, and I've only just noticed it but they've swapped a perfectly good middle seatbelt for one that isnt off match colour to the leather. Havent been in it for a loong while and have only just noticed it today. Why would they take it out, why wouldnt they charge me for a new one. Why oh why . Its fully black instead of tan like the rest of the belts. They've replaced the male and female parts which seems unusual.

Hi guys, I'm not the best at taking photos, infact your more likely to find more photos of my thumb than you will of everything else. Anyone here with a mind for photography care to make a guide to profiling your BMW and put it in a sticky so that people who wanna post their car up in the rides section can have a base to work from, because honestly some of the photos up there are really well done. I mean sure it sounds easy but when it comes to doing it what are some tips to help newbies like me out. Everyone loves seeing peoples rides, but when you have good photos it makes it so much better. Whats the best time of day ? Whats the best backdrop ? Where should the light be coming from ? Flash on / Flash off ? Sun behind ? Infront of some buildings or behind something that makes the car stand out more ? there are many more questions but I hope you guys can answer them without being asked . ya know... you could like get a foto of that backdrop and just photoshop in the rest . Car and foreground looks much more detailed than the rest, but im not suggesting you done that.

they're wicked shots dude - how much it cost to get them done. My only objection with the top foto is the photo is centred by the city and not around the car.

As soon as the E30 rolls up my drive, I shall send the money through. Trying to keep as much cash free just incase I need it after the purchase.

In my opinion I believe your asking to much, and you would be better off selling it for $1500 on standard wheels and selling the mags separately. My justification : The new paintjob seems to have more devalued the car as far as the typical BMW enthusiast are concerned. Taking the black off the bumpers and painting hte roof looks quite tacky takes away the whole genuine look that BMW lovers are after. It would more appeal to the youth market, as they're more looking for the cheaper dailydrive cars, in manual with the big bore etc. So maybe $4000 is too much for them ? The enthusiasts are the ones with the $$$ it seems, so maybe take off the mags and sell separately or as an upgrade option, I dont believe you will get the desired amount for the mags respectively if you sell them on the car. Another thing to consider is people have different tastes in mags, so offering them as an upgrade option leaves room for others to put on there own mags if they choose and also gives people who want those mags for other branded cars to have a go at purchasing. Its upto you, just some idea of what you could do. Mods can delete this post if its too graphic, I'm not trying to put down his ride I'm just stating my thoughts on the whole thing.
