where the loom enters the boot it is fixed to the lh boot hinge with a plastic sheath.Take of the sheath and untape the loom tape.I bet you have some broken and or shorting wires.Have you checked the middle (high) stop light? The LKM causes loss of headlights

most (if not all) proper wheel cleaner are caustic.I would try a polish lightly first.If it comes clean polish and wax them,then will be easier to keep clean

what is about some vane or butterfly with the 3.0 d engine.Does it apply to all 3.0 deisel engines. The 535d is the same engine as the 530 but has two turbos in line,a small and a large so basically its on boost all the time and the larger turbo gives it the top end that the single turbo cant acheive on the 3.0d

If i ever feel the need for a larger vehicle the X5 is the one i will get,love that colour too.I would prooly go for the 3.0d,or the 535d if they were/are available
