  1. Here we go : Official BMW Info
  2. Man, I got to get me one of these The ultimate BMW owners accessory - other than the obvious of course There's a pic on the front page of section D of todays herald. Looks pretty cool too.
  3. Note our Commodores when compared to those in Aussie don't have front spotties, alloys or rear spoiler either. (obviously ours are not SS Commodores hence the reason why) Wonder what mods under the hood they get over there too that ours miss out on? BTW there's an ex-police chipped clubby for sale up this way somewhere. How it was let off the fleet still chipped is beyond me, but would be a good buy for any Holden fans with the only downside being the high mileage.
  4. Another Victoria, Australia masterpiece
  5. Notice the aussies spend taxpayer money putting alloys on their cars - make them look badass though. Especially Victoria. edit: sh*t just realised its a Monaro too!
  6. It's been two years since I was last living in Dunedin, but when I was there there were two I saw regularly. //Stands behind flame-proof wall I think they are one of the best looking bimmers. :thumb:
  7. I don't mean to add to your misery, but you wouldn't have any pics we could wince over would you?

i've had a fair bit of experience with landcruisers from old fj50's to newer ones and they can't be beaten. You would really need to look at your bank balance before even considering a rangey. Get the cruiser - you'll be happier in the long run.
  9. 353 first time, but found that it is easy to up your score if you reverse into the second two instead of driving straight in.

    haha e36 suckers

There are many documented cases of vehicles that are more unsafe than their predecessors. It is a question of design. If two vehicles of the same model line vary in terms of shape and size sramatically as is often the case, then of course safety design is affected significantly. Sometimes car manufacturers make death traps - it's a fact. I'm not saying that this is the case here of course, but to blindly believe that a newer car is safer than an older one of the same model line is to believe in a fallacy. Obviously the general trend is towards safer cars, but there were periods in car safety design whereby the theories used to design so-called "safer" cars were flawed - but we only know this due to the benefit of hindsight.
  11. My f**king printer sux - it made it really small - still works, but I've got a "mini" dragon. Small things aye! Not really worth the effort cutting it out. downloading the video was much less painful.

I was following a white 535 touring yesterday. Definately looks better in white. And definately looks better than the E30 tourings - although those are all class too of course.
  13. Not my first vote, but maybe my second. Oh well, since you asked nicely... Hope she wins now I have voted for her. Na screw that, hope I win now I have voted for her.
  14. I'm sure you have read this thread. I listed a couple of prices for Dynatron alarms that i thought were reasonable. Your best bet is to go into your local alarm installers, see what they have and for how much, and then ask whether that brand is good. As a general rule I have found the mag and performance type shops to be more expensive than the smaller, specialised installers and auto-sparkies as they are marketing to the performance crowd with more money than sense, and the boy-racer crowd which just want to be able to HP the lot. This is of course a generalisation, not a rule.
  15. Bah! Consider it a $2 donation.
  16. Ooops, didn't read properly - they are ready, so redeciding is prob out of the question. in that case, as above, it was 2 large. Cheers
  17. 2 large, but can you remind us all how big they are so as i can re-decide?? Cheers

    Rules of Manhood

#24 also applies to "just a flatmate". Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to abide by the rules and got kicked out in the morning. Bitch used me like a pice of meat - kick ass!!!
  19. There is one up here for sale in Kerikeri. Some young dude who sacked it and put chromes on. Didn't sell, so he sold the chromes and put bottle caps on and is now asking $1500. Looks nicely beat up with different coloured panels and plenty of bog, but engine may be OK - I don't know, plus the straight/unbogged panels are good with no rust. Can get you the contact details if you want, although I think he is asking a little too much. Don't know him, just seen the car parked on the side of the road.

    Nissan/Datsun Navara

Referring to Jeff? Didn't know he had a courier. Don't see him around much, but catch up with his sister from time to time. Fully agree regarding the wheels, but it was a work ute for me, so didn't bother.
  21. Warm your car up before leaving the house - you caould set the heater on the night before and have it defog windows (if u park outside) and warm the interior? Also, to frighten passersby by starting the vehicle from your table at the cafe accross the road? Just a gimmick really. Don't have it, and wouldn't get it I don't like to idle my car for too long anyway because as we all know most engine wear is caused at idle when its cold.
  22. Speaking from experience???You can put remote start in yourself, but it may not be warrantable if you do - not sure. Qualified/certified installers are not allowed to install them or they will lose their license, so most don't. Only applies to manuals which as said above will lurch and may injure someone if tried to start whilst in gear.
