If it can display radio text then it should be able to display the text info from the grom unit. According to their site if you put in your car's year and model it should work fine.

Can't find the car charger for it but have the ac charger and the standby time and talk time is ages so you should not need the car charger. Also can't find the manual but you can get it off the net. Edit : Just found the car charger and the manual (go figure). Edit : Fast or last guys this is now sold to one of our members. Since I have put the Dynavin unit in I no longer need my grom usb unit. Its a great unit just setup the folders and put your music on a usb stick and plug it in and you are good to go. This unit is a boot optioned one. This means you put it in your boot and just plug the cables into your cd changer plugs. Yes it does take away your cd changer unit but you can fit sh*t loads more on a usb stick than 6 cd's. It also displays full track info on your oem head unit. Please see this link for info about it and if it may suit your car. Select your year and make and it will let you know if this will work for you. Only for you guys I am offering this at $150 for a week after that it goes on tardme. >>Click for grom usb site<< Please note i did not order the ipod cable when i purchased this if you want the ipod cable that plugs into it you will have to get that your self.

Look what turned up today. This is now version 4 I am about half way through the install. Waiting on the relocation kit from Gavin to button up the hvac controls. I have the unit half way in, not much room and about a million wires out the back to try and fit it all in. Calling it a night as my lighting sucks and i have a headache. Had a little play with it and everything works farkin brilliant.

From my understanding the brake sensors are not a trigger in the sense you may be thinking of. They are a piece of wire and when it breaks it creates the open circuit and this is what registers the fault.

Yup thats what I did to mine when I had it, Those rear fogs are nothing but a pain in the arse if you are behind them.

Bugger i was not aware of this if bringing something into nz. So if i bring this Dynavin in that i have ordered which is $1100 i have to pay gst on it ??. If this is the case where do i have to pay this, Does it arrive in the country and i have to go pay any fees before i collect it or something. I was not aware of any of this.

Could possibly ask the reseller in the states to get one in with a digital tuner i guess, You cannot order direct from the manufacturer as they only do them via resellers.

Just a word of warning if anybody is thinking of getting one of these from the states. Currently all Dynavin made for the states ship with the inbuilt analog tuner and all others that are shipped to Europe/Australia/NewZealand have the digital tuner. So because i am getting mine from the states it has the analog tuner, How ever you can change this to the digital one if need be. I am not worried as we still run the analog here and i doubt i would be watching much tv in the car anyway. Hmmmm , Might have it on to distract the missus so she's not saying "You are driving to fast slow down" or "watch out for that car" hahahah.

The E39 is 6.2’’ and the E46 is 7’’ but they both run on the same resolution 800 x 480.

I have had sss progman working via a virtual machine and carsoft box, Works ok , Plenty of places to look on the net with info about this.

Its my understanding they are currently doing a run of the E39 at the factory now.
