Hmmm i was not aware of any hp difference between the non m and the m sport ones, As far as i know the m sport has the different wheels, suspension, interior trim (black cube or silver cube), steering wheel and so on and not forgetting bumper etc. Depending on what package was ordered.

Here is a good nz new smg 330ci , Maybe over your price range but very well spec'ed and a good service history. >>Trade me link click here<<

I think at the end of the day if you are happy with the buy be it nz or jappa then go for it. I made sure i confirmed the service history with mine (an import), it had full service history (i contacted the service agent it was done with). Came with all the keys and books, pretty high spec'ed the only thing it did not tick on my box of things i wanted with mfl wheel but Gavin at euro Italian has hooked me up with the retrofit kit for it at a more than great price and its a easy install. To be on the safe side though i took mine for a pre purchase inspection at Gray's bmw here and it came out with flying colors so i am more than happy to drive around in my jappa

Just watched episode 2 and was worth a watch, They did a 3 car test where they test for various things, Hammond bought along a e36 M3 for his choice. Interesting though was the fully mobile vehicle inspection facility, Now that looked pretty cool. The M3 scored the lowest out of the inspection though with a score out of 150 it got 6, You have to see it so see why. On the autobahn and on the test track it bettered the other 2 although dunno if i would be driving it on the track if it only got a score of 6 on the test station.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I was sort of in the same position as you when i went looking to upgrade my e36 to e46. I had a look at a lot of cars but in the end settled on my m spec'ed 325. Sure the 330 has alot more horse power but for what. We can only do 100kph on the open road and if you are getting around town there seems no point IMO to have a zillion horse power. I took a few 330's for a spin and to be honest i did not feel an overwhelming difference between them and the 325 I ended up purchasing. All depends on what sort of $$ you are looking to spend and what you really want. Best advice have a good look around and take as many for a test drive as you can to find the one you really want. Oh and make sure you get a pre purchase inspection from a bmw workshop to show up any hidden problems.

Cheers Glenn might as well just put a new hose on i think. Just normal hose clamps do the trick on a new hose ??.

Going off of the quick question i asked in the quick question thread I got under the car today to find out where this small leak is coming from. Splash guard off i could see oil on the steering pump lines. Tracing it though it appears to be coming from the top of hose the goes into the steering pump reservoir which is up the top. This line here to be exact. This hose appears to be crimped. Looks like the oil is coming from the top of where the line plugs into the reservoir. But in saying that there was a sheen of oil around the reservoir. The reservoir looks like its in two parts, top half and bottom half although i do not know if these two separate. Anybody else ever had this problem. What am I looking at here, would it be easier for me to put it in and have this repaired or is it something i could do myself.

Opps forgot to post about going. ^^^+1 for the Christchurch concert, Bloody excellent, Did not realise the opening band was his son. I loved they way he did alot of his songs though a story about a musical. The place rocked with the likes of moon shadow and father and son and not forgetting peace train. Loved it to bits fantastic night with fantastic music.

Just heading off to the concert now, Looking forward to it, I see some tickets on trademe going for some silly prices. Time for some nostalgia.

Cheers Glenn will get it up in the weekend and get the splash guard off so i can have a good look.
-
A mistype or he has no idea about the car he is selling.

Started noticing a small patch of oil on the garage floor over the past week, Oil appears to be steering and not engine, Had a quick climb under the car with a torch and could see a couple of hoses coated with oil. No time until the weekend to take the splash guard off to have a good look but appears it could be the steering pump hoses. Question, easy fix for me to do myself if this is the case or could it be something else under there i can't see with out the splash guard off.

I just use this site here, Has just about every tv show and episode you can think of, Problem is i get all the episodes before they get to nz then when they do get here i have nothing to watch. And don't laugh cause i am following masterchef aussie season 2 at the moment. Most episodes of shows you can get in hd as well. Dedicated Tv
