Just a heads up for hawke's bay people that i'm trying to organise a meet/shoot, have posted in meetings sub forum but i'm doing this in 'off topic' aswell 'cos the smaller regional meet threads get overwhelmed by the Auck/Welly threads. Mods, you will prob' tell me off for postin' in wrong place
-
I knew someone would post something like this. The title was a semi tongue in cheek way to start my thread.
-
Yep Blair, primo place up here, only prob' is i gotta put up with all the crap weather to get a decent view once in awhile lol. And yeah i love NP, i've lived all over the north island and i always end up in NP, think it has to do with the people. It's one of the few places in the N.I where strangers still say 'hi' to you on the street.

What a KNAC lol, althought i stumped it a couple of times. Pretty cool tho'.

Well last night it snowed at my place for the first time in 'bout 10 years. I live just below Mt Taranaki but the snow doesn't normaly make it this low. As for global warming.....the mountain wasn't completely clear of snow until mid march this year and now it's covered again so thats 'bout 2 months. This is a pic i took this morn' from my deck. AHHH my million dollar view, stand on the deck and look left you see the mountain, then look right and you look over New Plymouth to the ocean

I enquired 'bout getting my E3 back on the road just last week at VTNZ. If the car is NZ new and you have proof of previous NZ rego (i have old NZ plates that still show on carjam and full service history from new) then all it is is a VERY strict WOF, such as NZ STDs approved tires and naw brake pads (not 20 year old ones) Cost is $257 plus a years rego. What they told me was keep ALL receipts for any work/parts that go into the car and show them at VIN time. Despite what alot of people say bout the VTNZ i have always found my local one very fair to deal with. My advice is to ring around 'cos you will get so many stories as to what to do.

Hey all, how do you tell the difference between big, medium and small case diffs? I'm sellin' a 3.91 diff from a '93 525i auto jap import, a guy asked me if it was a medium case and would it fit in a E30. But before i answered him he bid and met reserve. I don't want him to have to buy it if it won't fit. Anyone help?
-
cheeRS Mike, but E30 master cylinder is no good.
-
Holy crap, a GT-S dressed up like a GTR and they reckon it's worth $75,000 US, takin' the piss arn't they?
-
Like title states, i need a clutch master cylinder for either an E3 (sedan) or E9 (coupe). I think one from an E12 may fit also. Also need the hose that attaches to master cyl. cheeRS.
-
Technically still is hand built.......twice lol.
-
LMAO would love to roll into a VTNZ to get a WOF, they wouldnt know where to start, wheel bearing play-tie rods-tire tread depth lol.
-
Sounds like he wants YOUR 540 Simon lol.
-
The 1st and 4th ones you listed are imports so wouldn't even bother lookin' no matter what k's say. If an E34 has facelift front (wide grille) and it's not a V8 then it's an import, either Japan or Singapore. The Singapore ones have some odd stuff fitted from new. Have seen '88 520s from Singapore with full leather and they weren't individual optioned.

More 'bout it here http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...d.php?t=1200832

It could work the other way to tho Simon, if other members know you're bidding maybe they won't.
-
Ah i see, however things may have changed in 4 years

Was thinkin' it may be a pretty good idea if we had a sticky thread where BS members could list their Trademe usernames. Just so other members could see if the items they are looking at are bein' sold by a BS member. Whats everyones thoughts? Mods/Admin is this possible?

Whats the chance someone in the US posts a thread 'bout the same wheels today lol Tho' it seems people have differing opinions on weight. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...d.php?t=1231003
