Can't beat a nice set of Ford motorsport rims on a Cossie. Was thinkin' of getting those myself, good excuse for me to buy another Saph' Cossie lol.
-
Yeah the more i look at mine the more i think it's just a classy lookin' car. Mine also has original keys, handbooks and even still has the paper tag (was stuffed into handbook case) that was attached to the keys when delivered to NZ. Good to know of someone else saving an E3, another person to bounce ideas off lol. Mine has 65,000 miles on it (104,000km)

99% sure you don't need to be certified to do structual welding, as long as it is seen to be of an acceptable and safe level. We do all our own welding on our track/rally cars and any one of them would pass any inspection.

Plans so far (but may change over time) Rebuild 2.5ltr with the 4spd manual, my 16" throwing star reps (charcoal centres with polished lip), paint was going to be toyota Avensis brown met but as the interior is blue and in VERY good cond i think it wil have to be a dark blue or very deep purple. I want this car to be able to stand out for being a very classy looking big Bimmer with a few after market additions but still be able to sit proudly among others in a inter marque show.

Hey guys, this is a quick note to say a BIG thanx to Darryl (RXSUMO). I bought an E3 2500 off him, the car is in very good condition and came with 2 engines and near complete manual conversion. Darryl went way out of his way to help me, i won't tell you how much i paid for the car but i will say it was a very VERY low amount. Not only did he accept my $ offer but he bought the car and all the spares up to New Plymouth from Wellington on the crappiest day we've had in weeks, can't thank him enough. Darryl, you the MAN

Pretty sure they use running gear (late M5) in both cars, they do move under their own power but not far or fast.
-
Well i did some carbon fibre work on this thing in 2006 and i'm STILL waiting for the thing to do anything significant (sp?) under it's own power.

Are they the RS copies that were on TM?

No disrespect to any one but........35 percent is LAW (on passenger cars) so why do people even bother tryin' to go darker. When they get pulled up for the tints and given a fine or told to remove them then the cops are the w#*nkers, FFS when are some people goin' to wake up. Keep ignoring the law and they will just get tougher. My 2 cents.

Hey Johno, i'm pickin' up my 18" BBS RK's tommorow and was wonderin' what tires to get as my budget isn't big. Thay are from a E38, ET13 with 235/50/18's but as they will be goin' on my E34 i need advice on best size and price. cheeRS.
-
I just bought a set of 18" BBS RK's E38 fitment with 235/50/18 on them, my question is......Will they fit on my E34 without too much hassle? Bit worried they may be too tall. cheeRS all.

OMFG..............I'm surprised he made it to spendin' $50k. Would've thought he would've got to 'bout $9500 and said "what the f#*k am i doing"

The thing is, we have cheap Jap performance parts and expensive Euro performance parts. In Europe it's the total oppisite, have seen cars in Scandenavian (sp?) countries that make you think WTF, ie: 3.6 and 3.8 turbo M5 motors in Skylines.

Cool, thanx guys. Will give Grant a call.

Was back in the 'Bay on the weekend and wanted to check out a car i'd seen many times just sittin' in a paddock but....... Knocked on the door of the house where it looked like the owners live but no answer on 3 different occasions. So i'm askin' if one of the 'Bay guys could try and check it out at some stage for me? It's on Swamp rd, 'bout 2 or 3 km's from the Puketpu end, on the left under a row of pines. Not a good pic' but i didn't really want to start walkin' round someones paddock without permission lol.
