turns out there was a electric cable loose, not of the air filter part but the next part along :lol:lols im bad at explaining when i connected that back up that dropped the idle down to 1000 then a lil adjustment on the idol screw saw it go down to a nice 800-900 thanks for the help

k so i got a 318i m10 that idle's at 1500 once warm and 1000 cold and i cant figer it out, as its had air con disconnected also i read that it can go 180km/h but down the motorway i can only get it to 170km/h and once you get over 5k revs at high speed you can hear like almost sounds like bubbles of air in the fuel pump i dunno im just guessing what the sound is and where maybe its just air get under a seal sum where if anyone can help with the idle, it would be most appreciated and if this is anything only mods to engine are, K&N filter and new exhaust oh and it had problems when trying to start on cold days , eg not wanting to idle and not wanting to rev past 3k

ummm yeah sure, i see you are a racer yourself so you should know my dad Chris Watson, he organizes like heaps of meets so im always working out at puki 4 him, think the next one is in January and ill be at jenian homes building doing timing its a breeze with the transponders and stuff , i think the bmw e30 series and open series will be running aswell so i guess I will see you there

looking for a e30 325i engine and gearbox to put in my 318i race car as it lacking in power and i want something with a bite more poke ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and if anyone is look for BMW parts i gotsa lotta things as i got 2 race cars that don't need all the bits and bobs i got a M20 2.0L engine and gearbox and computer (cause of s50 swap WOOO) M10 1.8L engine and gearbox and computer M20 drive shaft M20 rear end with diff e30 suspension lowered all round (springs shocks and struts- Monroe) e30 4x100 14" BMW rims e36 m3 full exhaust i know this aint the right place to post what i got but meh i dont really care about selling them
