from my knowledge the M10 engine isn' that great to modify unless you go turbo like the 2002ti, my advice would be to get a more sporty exhaust and cold air box so that it sounds more grunty all depends how much your willing to spend really

Maybe my dads 320i was registered 1983, May 18th so its most likely a 82' model which only 15,580 e30's were produced in that year so are you saying its on of the first 10 320i's? but mine isn't that flash, pretty stock really (that is before i got my hands on it ) NON SIDE INDICATORS FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!

yeah but this car is 85' and im pretty sure indicators on front guards didn't happen till late 86 early 87 most likely it was in a crash and all the panels were ding'd so they thought they might aswell convert it to facelift? i dunno im guessing

ok cheers for the info, I will try stinge a $100 outta my dad as Im a bit short of cash at the moment, then I'll post my results and hopefully some of the e30 guys will tell me how far i am off the pace, i don't expect to be that close as the engine has done 300k but it doesn't smoke and and has got awsum acceleration past 4000 revs but dead from 1-3k.

Engine out of my 1985 318i e30 done 300k was doing 1:24's round puki, only been raced about 4 times was doing 0-80 in 7.1 seconds with factory being 7.9 top speed i have got it to on flat is just over 180 with factory being 178 runs really well, doesn't burn any oil,doesn't smoke at all and shows no signs of wear runs pretty cold ( water temp sat on the first bar on the temp gauge, the bar left of the middle one ) looking for offers above $300 sorry about quality of pics

Ive got the urethane bushings and a big vice to press them in (i think its sufficient) so how long does it take to change both the front control arm bushings? as i don't want to start then find its gonna take ages as ive got exams soon and don't want to over commit on the car haha cheers
