lastly, I took the liberty to just update bimmersport to the latest version.

Bimmersport was down for a bit as I hit a bug in the server virtualisation that corrupted the database disk when deleting an old snapshot. I have brought it back from the dead and there is no data loss.

FYI the IP for bimmersport has been updated to 103.19.4.58. The server is currently working on both old and new thanks to some swanky linux routing.

TLDR there shouldn't be any downtime.

I test drove the auto and it felt so bland compared with the manual. No plans for mods at this stage, just little things like coding the radio to NZ frequencies.

Back at it again with the white compact. 130i 6 speed. It could do with an LSD but it's fun enough as is.

The TTL on the record will mean the issue is fixed within the next 6-24 hours.

The TXT record was "v=spf1 a -all" which should have allowed any mail originating from bimmersport.co.nz which resolves to 114.31.212.49. I have since added the entire /24 to the TXT record but can you advise what source IP your mail provider is checking against for TXT record validation?

That should be the last random outage of bimmersport. I just moved it to a permanent hosting setup with a new IP, before it was running off a laptop on my desk

For the vertical thread titles it is a known issue and will be fixed in the next release which will probably be some time next month. In the meantime the following hotfix has been added to the custom css config to try resolve it:

Fixed the pictures in the thread as your images were using the old path style, just meant creating a symlink between the two styles.

What other images are still broken? I just need the URL of the broken image to figure out why its broken.

Copying images to a new directory now, should fix all the problems.

Bimmersport has been upgrade to a new version bringing it forward by about 4 years and a major version.

Looks like a lot of images are broken, this didn't happen on the test run. I will figure it out.

Let me know if anything else is broken. Username and public names have now been combined as this was a requirement to upgrade.

I was driving the compact to and from the track and it was quite comfortable, but you would need a cert if you wanted it to be by the book.

Even though its not eligible for the production class, its way more production car than any other car in the series except for your old car.

I'm using Chrome and selecting the IP address James posted, right-click and 'Go to 114.31.212.141' took me to http://bimmersport.co.nz/index.php?app=ccs&module=pages&section=pages&folder=&id=3.

Current pages as far as I could quickly see.

You can't use the IP as the address, you have to change your local dns to use 114.31.212.141 by changing the hosts file.

Originally I put the current IP which has 2kcup.com as the default page when visiting the IP.

If anyone is interested, I have a new version of bimmersport at 114.31.212.141, you can test this by changing your hosts file.

If logging in, you have you use your screen name rather than your account name. When I do the change for real I will select username as the default and this will become your screen name again if you changed it at any time in the past.

The half cage was built with the idea a full cage would be added, so its not a major job.
