haha sweet as... i thought i was gonna come up against some pure bma hardouts lol
-
na... i wont be paying any1 to do the conversion, all i'll be paying for is parts. i have mates who can do wat ever welding and stuff that needs to be done so that the engine and gear box and wat not will fit (they build cars for a living, they dont hav much bussiness at the moment) and all for the price of a few boxes of beerHes willing to sell it for $10,000 which is probably cheaper than it would cost you to build what you are after.

a lil expensive lol.... but good idea hahaput a RB26DETT in
-
hey fellow bimmersportians, just wanna get ur opinion on wat im kinda keen on doing.
ive been thinking about putting a rb20det or 25det into my e30 (i know is like desecrating something sacred and holy) but i love turbos but it would just be too expensive for me to turb my beautiful bma engine ryt now (in the futre maybe... wen i got money to throw around lol)
so please let me know wat u fink? should i or na?
-

just thought id let u knw....
it was the thermostat that was causing it to over heat, it was stuffed, a bit on it had snapped in half
-
mint as bro... what are the white bits coming down over the lights? they look sick as!
-
yup i did that and used that, there wasnt actually a leak, just replaced the radiator and some spilled out wen i did, and by some i mean a lot lolAs a band aid maybe. I dont think thats the answer hes looking for...... I would suggest you get the leak checked and repaired, and service the transmission at the same time. The correct oil is G3, I would suggest you use G3 full synthetic.
-
+1make sure you guys document it , plenty of images and a small write up for other people to refer to in future.
I am sure others would like to see it too
cheers and good luck

ok glenn, how much will it cost for me to just bring it for u to hav a look?Obviously you need professional help as a self confessed noob... I suggest you seek professional help before this turns disasterous for you
BTW: Your car is overheating... because its getting to friggen hot because of a cooling system problem
-
lol sorry, but bleed valve?Did you use the bleed valve when filling the coolant etc?
Could have a vapor/air lock in the system.
Had this happen before..
am a bit of a n00b
