Hey guys i just got my car converted to manual, and currently i dont have a BMW gearknob, but i do have an aftermarket one. Does anyone know where i can buy an adaptor for the aftermarket gearknob? Or does anyone have a cheap bmw one ? thanks

Hey there, give it a go they are not too hard to install esp. the volt gauge. Otherwise if you are wanting someone in south auckland there is a member in here with a workshop in takanini Give Mike 323e30 a PM hes doing my conversion atm and a real easy guy to talk to. Good Luck, Im going to get this done soon too.. You cant trust the old e30 temp gauges lol even the fuel sometimes

What are the advantages of the battery in boot conversion ? Apart from less weight over the front?

I ment the control panel on top of my rear view mirror in my e30.. the light that turns on is the "BREAK LIGHTS (!)" Cheers

well recently when i sart driving around at random times the brake light light in the control panel comes on, im 99% sure that its not the actual brake lights as i have replaced them, when the light comes on i check them and all the rear break lights are still working.. any ideas ? Just a bit annoying really.. Next move take the brake light bulb out in the control panel
