Hey guys Tried removing my bumpers today and it seems i need a special tool, headed over to repco and supercheap but both salespeople said they didn't know lol, Where can you buy this tool for? and from where ? or do the salespeople just dont know what they are talking about ?? Cheers Andrew

I got a quote from BM Workshop last week and they said the gasket only costs about $35 but the labour will thake 3-4 hours. They quoted me about $350 i think but i guess you could find a cheaper mechanic etc. because they charge about $75- 100 an hour i think. But its hard to tell where it is really coming from

Sump gasket ? i think thats where mine is leaking from.

Hey Guys yer it would be pretty mean for a carb'd 316, it is only one filter unfortunately and yeah i think it is a fit for Weber / Dellorto / Solex.. $30 Anyone ?

Hey mate behind the instrument gauge cluster there are two small bolts and nuts that work as grounds try and tighten them up they may be loose, my hauges would play up and this is what i did Hope this helps

Well.. I know i said matt black in my OP but i have actually got it in satin now, yes you are right it looks abit odd looks abit better now UPDATE: Interior is pretty much sweet now, got surround and a greddy shiftknob on there now, all i need is a new wheel and maybe new seats.. And i may get one of those is lips available on here:D And also looking at an engine swap in the near future: M20b25 or even possibly M50 Does anyone know if i can run my getrag 240 box on a m50b25 ?

I'd go for the one with the lower k's if you had the extra $$ but like what ^^ said make sure it has a service history.. I say this because my e46 has about the same amount of k's on the clock and has had to go through abit of repairs over the time ive had it, eg air flow meter $750, Passengers airbag sensor $500 etc. so you mite want to pay for a lower k's car instead on repairs. Just something to think of
