  1. Hows it even possible what happened to the rubber.
  2. How’s this car going now after a Few months?
  3. Leave under a tree evergreen that is gives it some protection, agree with the no car cover option
  4. Hi guys as my username says I’ve had this vehicle for 10 years and only done 41k in it. Been garaged as a second car for a long time. Will come with new wof and 12 month rego. 188k nz new, Oxford green, beige leather, service history new cooling system, factory roulette alloys. Runs and drives great sad to see it go, open to offers. Advice the pre 2000 model e39 sedans seem to be falling off the road and hard to sell at present and at really low values. Is this the general consensus?. The wagons seem to be asking $3k plus not sure what this is worth is $2600k a fair price?
  5. You should turn that little room at the end into a scullery or walk in pantry keeping the kitchen minimalist. Laundry in garage if it is the laundry
  6. Volvo threads always turn to sh*t no matter what forum you're on.
  7. Clean the sh*t out of it pump up the tyres put some fuel in it play with it for a week make sure it starts first pop run it through for a wof and sell it for $600 with wof fail sheet for buyer. You know that's what's going to happen anyway.
  8. I disconnected mine for months on end did it no harm.
  9. And I only put those tyres on a few months ago
  10. Yes sounds like it is engine and trans have always run superb FSH etc. Just noticed the tyre size difference since this thread.
  11. It has 55 on front and 50's on the rear, as in 225x55x16
  12. Hi guys. Any help appreciated here, Here are symptons of my trans potential issue. 1. Is very tall in first when cold changes to 2nd at 3500rpm and when i'm at 40k. 2. I have had to use the tiptronic or manual part to change into 5th when doing 100k as it seem to be sitting at 2500rpm so dropped to 1700 odd once in 5th, had to do that a dozen times not all the time. 3. Has started not dropping back in to 1st when stopped at lights done this a few times probably half a dozen times then takes off slowly pinking abit because it's in 2nd or even third, then realises and kicks down and gives the diff a whack while it's at it. 181k kiwi new so I might explore BMW service records if they have changed the trans fluid but it looks like the lifetime seal sticker is still in tact. Suggestions please.
  13. In the M series and non M series the E34 and E39 appear to be in the higher percentile of over all reliability of most cars out there.
