Looks good. Heres the link: M325i Vert

Gidday I am home sick, and thought I would have a go at getting my rear foglights working. I now have them working now, all I had to do was pull out the switch, pull it to bits, clean all of the components, put it back together and put it back in place. I have replaced the bulbs, and it works fine. Funny, I have had my 325i for 5 years, and I have finally got around to getting them going. I don't know if I'll ever use them (they are bloody bright and would no doubt be a PITA to be following) but it is good to know that they are going. Cheers

Yes I was mocking you as well....but secretly I was just insanely jealous.

Just a reminder to all that the Admin/ Moderators of Bimmersport do not condone driving in a reckless manner or the breaking of any laws while driving on a public road.

How do Koni's compare price wise to Bilsteins? Cheers

Glenn Does that pic have those springs in the car? They don't look too low, I could be interested. Andrew/ Gus are they the same springs as you guys have? Cheers

I'll be in California in September for three weeks. Starting in San Francisco, then in Yosemite National Park (not far from Fresno), Then to LA for a week or so. My partner is from California, so we are going over there for a trip. Her Dad runs the workshop of the SAAB dealer in San Francisco, but before that ran the San Francisco main BMW Dealership workshop, so he has all of the connections. I'm sure I can source a good one, and time is not really an issue for me either, as he can keep a look out for me. I would even own it over there for a while before bringing it across here. Cheers

You and me both. I am going to try and find one in the States, when I am over there later in the year. Cheers

Smoking where? At the engine, or at the exhaust? At the exhaust it xould possible be worn piston rings letting oil get into the cylinders, and therefore burning oil. Has the oil level slowly been going dropping? Good luck tracking the problem down. Cheers

Dirty assed cars in Parc Ferme at Sky City (as close as I could get, they were roped off)

Cody Crocker's Subbie (He is Possum's Protege)...however he was beaten last night by his Subaru Australia's factory teammate.

Here is Panizzi's WRC Mitsi....didn't even make it to the start line for his second run.

I went to watch the Rally of NZ Superstage at Manukau last night. It was bloody good, those guys sure can drive. Not good though if you are a Mitsi WRC fan, they both suffered electrical problems and are out of the Rally. Anyway, on the way from Manukau to Sky City to see the cars in Parc Ferme I pwned one of the entries on the motorway, at a whopping high speed of 105km/h. Man, did I feel special..... Here is the photographic proof as I am about to overtake him.

but you didn't have to make pitstops.Dave and I were hampered by a faulty seatbelt, that made pitstops very long, and also lost 3 postitions after being shunted into the tyre barrier on the hill. However we finished a creditable 5th. It was a good night though. Thanks to the BMWCC for putting in on. Cheers

Sam, you go karting tonight as well?

Yup, car and people watching at Pauanui is always good for a laugh. It seems to be poser central a lot of the time, with people going there to be seen.Me, I go there to get out of the city and relax, eat, drink and read. Oh and I like the drive there and back (except when the roads are busy).

and with all the extra weight being added to your cart, i think even i would pwn you! I'm afraid that in an effort to maximise the power to weight ratio, that Gus will try and drive nude. Cheers

Gidday I have noticed a couple of times lately a groan from the rear of my car. It has happened in this situation: Driving along normally in 5th gear at 100km/h and then needing to change down into 4th while still accelerating (i.e to go up a hill on the open road). It seems to be the strain of the changing down, and the acceleration that have caused the groan. The groan lasts for only a fraction of a second, and the behaviour of the car is fine throughout. It is not a huge worry at the moment, and only happens occassionally. Just a PITA niggle. Any ideas? Cheers

mmmmm how bout lots of pretty pics of your car done, I will email some through.

I have called the Go Karting place in advance and have placed an order for a special kart for me for tonight. In order to gain maximum HP, I have asked for huge chromeys, blue neon lights and lots of stickers on the kart. They are also trying to hook me up with some small stuffed animal toys to put on the dashboard. Also if I am lucky, they will fit a large wing to the back to ensure I get the required amount of downforce. There will be no stopping me...
