Yeah, same here. I was driving along SH1b at a reasonable about speed limit speed in late February, when this dark coloured E30 325i, with red dice hanging from the mirror raced past me.....and following that was a orange E30, they both raced past me like I was standing still.

OK, here is the abridged version - That car is owned by an ex-Bimmersport member. We kicked her off the forum, as she was nothing but a trouble causing immature idiot. In fact she was nearly the downfall of Bimmersport, which I'm sure you will agree is a valuable resource for information. Having it gone would have been a great shame. Yeah, if you are not wanting to make engine mods, then making the car breathe easier, will give you the best bang for your buck. However, if you are going to get a cone filter, make sure it is well and truly shielded from the engine heat. Also, a good quality replacement sports exhaust should help as well (like a Remus/ Supersprint etc). If you do that, maybe look at replacing the chip, that combined with improved induction and freeing up the exhaust should provide a few more ponies. Good luck.
