The BMWCC are having a Go Kart Night on Wednesday, 14th April at Auckland Raceway, The Concourse, Henderson at 7.30pm. They have booked a 40 lap relay race and the cost is $30 per person. I will be a starter. Cheers

can you retrofit the normal headlight adjustment screws to your headlight mounting area? This might be the best solution, and should be pretty easy to do (I would imagine). Cheers
-
Yup, when I try it just sounds aweful, I am either blipping it far too much, or just too slowly to get the sequence right.Cheers

Daveyou got a fax? I'll fax you the three page document. It looks like a small bit of training in the morning, then 100km/h max lapping (no helmet and overalls) then 100km/h+ lapping after that (helmet and overalls needed). There is no actual 'racing' and overtaking is not allowed. However is saying that cars with similar capabilities will be sent out in the same groups, so we will not get stuck trying to stay ahead of M3's and the like. Cheers

Hello All I am determined to learn to Heel and Toe properly. I have tried it on occassion, but it is harder than it looks (unless I am really that unco-ordinated??). Who here is fluent in the art of Heel and Toe driving? How long did it take to learn and get it right all of the time? I am thinking that like most things, practice will make perfect. From what I have read, us E30 owners are pretty lucky and that the pedals in our cars are ideally located and spaced for this. Cheers

I'm about 90% sure I am going to attend (because the chances are I won't be here, and will be on holiday when the racecraft thing is on in September). It should be good fun. Cheers

If there is not a photo of a certain silver E36 that had perfected the art of sideways driving through the cones in the next Dixi I will be amazed. David, hopefully got some great pictures from where he was taking photos at the end of the hairpin. Andrew Wakelin was also at the start of the "S"s taking photos too, he should have got some good ones too. Cheers

Send Ryan (Bimmer Boy) a PM, this could be what he is after. Seems like a bloody good car and a good price, surely someone will snap this up. Cheers

Gus Are you sure that it is because the hydraulic headlight adjuster has been cut in your car, that the headlights are at the wrong angle? I just went and looked at mine (I cut the hydraulic mechanism out of my car as it didn't work, and couldn't be repaired) and I can still adjust my headlights manually with the screw mechanisms fine. Are you sure what the headlight is mounted to is ok (i.e not bent?) Maybe you can use something under the screws in the headlight housing to alter the angle (like a couple of washers on the bottom screws between the headlight and the mounting)? Good luck. Cheers
