Funny you should ask that. Scott Dixon is having a 4 day testing session with Williams in two weeks time.Cheers

What I read today "Ralf Schumacher is ready to sign a Formula One deal with Toyota. The German is sick of tenuous negotiations with BMW-Williams and could earn upwards of $22 million per-season at the Cologne-based team from 2005. Earlier, Schumacher was linked with a switch to Renault. But an insider close to Toyota told The People: 'Ralf has been having meeting after meeting with the team to iron out a deal and he's now ready to sign.'" Source www.f1live.com Cheers

Interesting... I guess we will know for sure in a day or so. Cheers

Are you sure, I read he was leaving for Toyota today. He was in discussions with Renault last week, but from what I read it fell through.Cheers

My wheels are getting re-aligned tomorrow....I have booked it in (well really just a check, they think it may be ok)...but better safe than sorry, I would hate to chew up a set of new tyres, for the sake of getting an alignment. Cheers

Each to their own I spose.I prefer bottlecaps to 17's. 17's look a bit out of place on an E30 in my opinion. 16's are the ideal size for an E30. Cheers

you have height on your side...which means you can better distribute the after effects of any beer that you drink, and pies that you eat etc.Bastard!!!! Cheers

Secretly I'm sure he did really like them. What is not to like!!I have been spotting a black 325i parked in one of the empty carparks at my apartment complex most days, it is sitting on bottlecaps, screaming out for the return of the chromies. Cheers

the standard BMW filter and housing does a pretty good job of that already. On a 325i, if a cone filter is properly heat shielded you should make a small gain (maybe 1 or 2 hp), but I don't think that it will be enough to make it worthwhile. But in saying that, it is a reasonably cheap mod, so really there is nothing to lose. If I was going ti do anything I would simply replace the standard panel filter with a K&N panel filter. Cheers

I only have one ab....

Awesome, I wish that we had similar type places in New Zealand. Getting track time here is very very hard, and the few tracks that we have are often booked out a long way in advance. Cheers

I'm pretty sure Gus has sold them now.Cheers

Yeah, unfortunately nice cars do occassionally get wrecked...but that is the price paid for the good fun that is had. Two years ago at the Targa proper (3 Targa's ago now) I watched a stage through Te Miro (at the back of Cambridge). It was wet, and four cars in a row missed the corner we were on, went up the small bank, got airborne and ended up in the paddock beside us. Miraculously, we managed to get three of them back on the road, where they were able to limp to the stage end (about 500 metres further up the road). All the good fun was ended though when one of the competitors went down the road and warned all of the future cars that the corner ahead was a tad slippery. Cheers

Yes, it is a relief. The guy at the testing station was good. He allowed me to use the brake testing machine to get my handbrake even. We would test, then adjust, then retest until I got it right. I have just got to get another wheel alignment again now after fitting the new tie rod and I will be a happy chappy. Cheers

yes, it was a real toss up for me between the Race and the Corse. I went with the Corse baecause I had driven a car with one in and I really liked it...better the devil you know.Cheers

It reminds me of the small Alfa's (147's ???). I like the look of the Alfa's, so I suppose I should like this...it will grow on me. Cheers

If what you are wanting is a small hatchback car, then they are a good car, I quite like them. Your alternatives are things like a VW Golf and Audi A3, and I would have the BMW over the other two. I also liked the E36 Compacts too (I know that I am in the minority here). Cheers

Yup, lets hope it is fine so that it it isn't a Schumi/Bridgestone benefit.Cheers

Dreams are free I suppose. Just when the lines of reality and fantasy are blurred that a problem starts to happen.Cheers

Thanks for the warning, I'll keep my eyes peeled and try not to get into a street race with this awesome machine. Was it ACS equipped by any chance? Cheers
