Ahhh, the end of an era.... May Pinky enjoy a pampered retirement at her new home. Cheers Grant

It is worse than crap, that old car show hosted by Jim Hickey on TV1 a few years ago was better. I'm not downloading anymore of them after that first episode. Who on earth is that new presenter, what a moron!! Cheers Grant

I agree, and for all the exact same reasons.

I see that the BBC2 have indefinately postponed the airing of the new season of Top Gear (meant for airing in 3 weeks time). They won't resume filming until Richard Hammond is 100% fit and part of the show again. Damn, I was looking forward to the new season too. Cheers Grant

McDonald Halligan were selling a black 4 door M3 too, a year or so back. Cheers Grant

Gidday All It appears that Richard Hammond has been badly injured in a jet powered car crash. It only happened a couple of hours ago, so details are still a bit sketchy. Lets hope he pulls through ok though, he is a funny guy. http://www.newswire.co.nz/main/viewstory.a...667&catid=0 Cheers Grant

I realise that some people will have a cry about this...but I did warn you in the title. Q: What does Peter Brock and Steve Irwin have in common? A: They both can't handle fishtales RIP to them both, seriously, it is a shame to lose two people both fanatical about what they do, and enjoy sharing their talents with the world at large. Cheers Grant

I just did this (have never really looked at fuel consumption before), and in the E36 323i in 100% city driving (basically to and from work) I used 12.02l per 100km. This was prbably better than I was expecting. This was with a mixture of pretty gentle driving, and the odd bit of spirited driving. Cheers Grant

Great write up, and great all round effort. My hats off to you. Cheers Grant (the other one)

Hi All We are selling our Jeep Wrangler, as it is not exactly the best vehicle to have with a baby on the way. Here is the Trade Me advert: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=65150649 We want $17,000 for it (minimum). It is NZ new, and only done 35,000km's and is in mint condition. We aren't interested in trades, as we have already bought a "baby" car (unfortunately it is not a BMW...we set up an ideal criteria, and found another car that matched it). Cheers Grant
