It looks bloody good. It finished D/L over night, and I just watched the first couple of minutes. I will watch it all tonight...or maybe even at work if I get bored. Cheers Grant

Do a search on here, someone raised this exact same question about 2 weeks ago. It was an easy fix. Cheers Grant

I agree. Again, there were too many mistakes in the field, and 2 badly dropped catches. However fielding can be easily worked on and rectified. Whilst Fleming's scoring rate was too slow, he at least made the runs. His S/R was still around 70, which isn't great, but it isn't that bad either. Over the summer (the Sri Lankan tour, and the Commonwealth Bank series) the Black Caps have slowly improved, and seem to be a better balanced side now. We are no where good enough to win the World Cup, but stand a better chance than we did 3 months ago. Also, I thought England actually played fairly well last night, and were deserved winners. For once their middle order didn't collapse, and they accelerated the scoring well at the end of their innings. Thank god, it is rugby season again!! Cheers Grant

Are you a comedian in your spare time?? Just because the Aussies "fixed" their last result against England, it doesn't mean that they will do the same against us. They want England to make the final rather than NZ. However I'm fairly confident that we will dispose of England tomorrow, and make the finals. Then at least the Aussies will be somewhat challenged, and will have to put in some work to win. Of course we mustn't mention "match fixing", aye Hanse. That's what I think anyway, who knows I may be wrong... Cheers Grant

I'm gshennen strangely enough. I look forward to beating you all again.....them's fighting words. I'm picking the Chiefs to win (but I always do). Cheers Grant

You can blame the rain, the umpires or whomever you like. The biggest issue was that the NZ team is not fielding up to the standard that an international team should be. The two dropped catches in the early overs of the Australian innings were unacceptable. Normally we can pride ourselves on our fielding, but this has been a bit of a let down as of late. However in saying that, it was nice to see the Black Caps finally showing some ability with the bat. Thank god for Oram and Vincent being brought back. I did miss a fair bit of the NZ innings though (but caught up on it this morning on the replay), as the Australian Open tennis final was on at the same time. I have been a tennis fan for over 20 years now (really showing my age) and I have to say that Federer must be the best player there has ever been. Of course what I have written is just my opinion....it is all so easy from the couch Cheers Grant

Hi All I am trying to clear out stuff from our place, we are overcrowded since the arrival of the baby. Here ares some things: 1) Every issue of NZ Autocar from December 04 - December 06 (25 issues). All mint. $25 for the lot. 2) BMW Enthusiasts Companion Book. "Owner Insights on Driving, Performance and Service". This was prodiced by the BMW Car Club of America. See more about it here: http://www.amazon.com/Bmw-Enthusiasts-Comp...TF8&s=books This is also in perfect condition. $20. If you buy both the magazines and the book, you can have them for $40. I'll even throw in a 1/25 scale E30 323i model (it is in pretty good condition, found it when tidying up, just needs a clean, as it is dusty). The catch is, you have to pick them up from my place in central Auckland. I can't be assed shipping them to anybody. Cheers Grant

Here we go. If I look tired, there is a good reason, by then I'd been up for 3 days straight, a bit much for an old geezer like me. After 24 hours, I have learned he likes to eat, sleep, sh*t, piss and cry.......so a lot like me then I guess Cheers Grant

Hi All Bimmersport has a new junior member. He is a little young to be able to sign up himself, so has asked me to introduce him. Ashford Awanui Shennen was born yesterday afternoon, and weighed in at 3.035kg's (6 pounds 11 ounces). He is doing very well. Brook and I are obviously stoked, and Brook is doing very well as well. Cheers Grant (a proud new father!!)

Gary The M52 ECU will adjust to the grade of fuel, and run ok on 91, however your power output will be down. I am assuming that the M50 does the same. The M20 ECU doesn't adjust as well (or maybe at all). Cheers Grant

Charlie, that is pretty cool. We went to a fire show in Rarotonga, and I thought it was pretty cool. Good effort. Cheers Grant

I use a small racquet to whack a small black rubber ball in an enclosed space (squash), all the while avoiding my opponent doing the same thing. I have started to take this seriously (again....I used to be fairly competitive when a late teenager...a long time ago), and do this about 5 times a week. A B1 grade is the aim for this year (should be easy enough). I also brew a bit of boutique style beer, and pride myself on the ability to make a damn good coffee. Cheers Grant

It can't have been me, or my E30. I was nowhere near there, and my E30 went to the E30 graveyard a fair while ago. Cheers Grant

Thanks for the answers guys, really helpful. I have spoken to a few people today, and looked at both (Quickbooks and MYOB) packages during the day, and agree with most of you here with Quickbooks being the "better' of the two. MYOB was good as well. Also Dick Smith is getting rid of its Quickbooks Small Business 2006, for $178 at the moment, so it is pretty hard to beat (and I only need the functionality of the Small Business package for my small one man consultancy). I will pick up a copy of this tomorrow. Ken, I take it from your reply that you are an accountant? Do you do small (I mean very small) business work, or can you recommend someone who is good to work with. I am starting out on my own in 3 weeks as a management and project consultant, and am getting everyting in place now to hit the ground running. Cheers Grant

Hi All I am going to purchase a small business accounting package, something like MYOB. Who has experience with any packages on here? What would you recommend (and why...)? Ideally I would like something that is set up for NZ, and deals with things like GST easily, and also interfaces with internet banking (BNZ) as easily as possible. I must admit to having very little knowledge of these packages, but have a pretty good general accounting knowledge. Cheers Grant

If I had a spare $50k burning a hole in my pocket, I'd consider it, that is a very very cool and rare car. I hope whoever buys it looks after it. Cheers Grant
