Was in front of a body kitted E46, Looked behind me... and It had an "Evo" styled bonnet scoop.

Unfortunately, It won't be the bunch of Car Lovers giving this praise, it'll be middle aged women trying to outdo their friends at a teaparty.
-
Wow, It's a very nice colour.... I like it.

After spending a few hours looking at Lindens IRL, I've come to like the red. But, Your car, Your colour, Hope it all works out for you

Right, She's all degreased... so the steering rack is silver eh? looks like the oil is just coming from that sensor, I would've taken a picture, but my camera is in my friends car... damnit. I'll have to drain the oil and figure out what part needs replaced. The sensor I beleve it is, is the oil level sensor.

You can buy an USB to RS 232 for like 20-30 bucks from DSE.

Yeah, painting the block a bright colour is a good idea. If I ever do a engine transplant, and have to pull the motor apart for any reason, I'd definately do the same thing.
-
Yeah, I'm trolling the yellow pages to find somewhere that would use a steam cleaner for 15 minutes or so.... Or i'll be under the car tomorrow with the cans of degreaser and the hose

It's a 2.5, It would fit in your car, Probably not your gearbox though... If it's a FL it will be pretty straightforward... P/FL is a little harder (wiring wise, the plugs don't match up) I too, would be pretty keen, but It's in Hamilton and I only have $600

Fair enough, It did seem a little cringeworthy. - I was going to use it as a temporary fix, but will just fix it properly instead. I'm pretty sure it's that seal... Ahh well.. Day off tomorrow
-
^^ allright. any reason why?
-
That's helpfull, Will have a scout around with my torch on my day off methinks... I'm thinking it's the sender, as oil drips out the tube (where the wire goes into)
-
I would say it's the nut on the back of the cluster. give it a tighten... sounds a bit like what my gauge was doing before I tightened it up
-
It's more than that, it's starting to make a mess of the road... I'm going to try a bottle of "stop leak" to see if it makes the problem go away...
-
So, My cars leaking oil However it's very miniscule... I think it might be the oil sensor seal... Is there any "common" leak problems with M20's? Thanks.

Actually, Apex... Quick question.. Do the sensors need replaced even if they are currently working when you replace pads? -
I guess you managed to get the car home? Sorry, I couldn't work out which of the wires did what... I think that maybe your problem...

Mums car got a WoF with no pad left at all. As long as it brakes properly, they don't care how much pad is left.... Very stupid IMO.
