Wanting to sell my 5.25" fusion speakers to upgrade to new components. they are 150watts and go pretty hard less than 1 year old come with customer spacers that i had made up, cost me $25 each to get them made. they are MDF sprayed black speakers sit inside spacers so can be mounted on parcel shelf, 80mm to the highest point of the speaker. cost me $130 all up but selling for $40 can post pictures if anyone wants to see

i can see where the police and government stand with this but i am also against how they are policing it, at 8pm on friday night we had just been to the alcohol store and were driving over to a friends house down te rapa road when we were pulled up. my car is loud when it gerts opened right up but we were just stopped at the lights waiting for the green and had been driving peacefully up until then when a police asked us to pull over whilst sitting at the lights, the cop then proceeded to try and pink sticker my car for being substantionally louder than factory, i offered to take the cop down to my work and show him on the db meter that my car was still legal and had passed a WOF without any troubles only 2 months ago, but this only made him angrier and tried to do me over for the height off my car which is also perfectly legal. i was more than nice to the officer but he still tried to do me over for everything. after failing to catch me out on anything he gave us a formal warning on the police system about alcohol in a liquor ban, even after seeing the receipts for the beers we bought 10 mins earlier. alot of them do not know how to seperate a boy racer from a car enthusiast and this is what is going to catch alot of people they are not in the wrong

white interior is very hard to keep clean, i have it in my e36, thought it would be sweet but it gets dirty real easy, although looks really nice when its clean, stands out and makes it a whole lot lighter inside your car

theres something wrong in there. a z3 short shifter wont work on a 328. it will make the shift longer. theres some good points in there but if you're going to rant like that you should atleast get everything right.

Installing sub and Amp E36 - Problems

theres no need but will just give him a lil more room to work in there, although i guess he is only running like 3 leads -
state is bad. i signed up a year ago with them for full insurance on my e36. when i asked them how much extra it would cost if i redid my interior they said they would cancel my insurance. i also paid a lil extra at the start to get no claims bonus for life but when it came to a year and time to receive my no claims bonus they made up some bs story and decided they needed to charge me $3 dollars more per week instead of giving me my 45% no claims. i am now in the market trying to find a different insurer but getting some ridiculously priced quotes atm. any ideas for a highly modified e36?

screws for your centre console are under the ash trays so just pull those out and u shud see the screws. plenty of room through there. u can get ur ac unit out by using something like a steel rule and slip in 1 side and lever it out gently, theres a steel clip on either side of the unit but they dont take much to get out so be careful and dont force it. if you are at the te rapa repco i can show you during my lunch break -
oops didnt read comments on previous page. they came in mid last week so sitting here waiting for you. if anyone is interested i advise on going for it. these are a very good buy. although do not go for it if you own a e36 328. one of the guys at work tried and it made the shift longer.

jase did you order 15 by any chance? we have a box of them sitting at work and i think fabian said you ordered them. dont know why everyone was going on about not be able to get them, we had no troubles getting them into stock

small correction. germany will now only make 10 keys with the same transponder chip to minimize the risk of a lost key being found and used on the car. after 10 keys you have to purchase a new EWS control unit and full new lock set. it is impossible for anyone in nz to copy these keys. and the keys are now programmed in malaysia which kinda defeats the bmw purpose. you can get 3 or 4 different styled keys for you e46 that are suitable for everyday use. prices will vary from about 140 for a basic key to about 380 for a full remote

dont go for the 3M spray adhesive. it like many other products looses it stick quite quickly then you have to start all over again. from experience i recommend the ados f2 brush on adhesive, it is very good for problems like these.
