There's so many performance chips out there, can they actually be used on a newer bimmers? (post-96 or OBD-II) Many chips are made in US, will they be suitable to us in NZ? (being Euro spec)

I got full cover, 60% NCD with AA insurance.e36 323i $800 premium, $300 excess. but it has $0 cover if driven by under 25s Seriously, the only time that I'm glad to be old is when it comes to insurance!

If this is the one, I'll be drooling........ Seen this on eBay a couple of time, didn't pay much attention until we are talking about torque wrench here.... Edited for smaller picture

Must be pretty quick~ Pod + Turbo + Intercooler Look at the cold air intake~ :thumb:

How many people are intrested? What sort of price are we looking at now for 1??At least we get some idea. Posibly which model of torque wrench from snap-on? They got quite a few different size.

Telecom always have little system niggles here and there all the time, but I am not sure if they will back-charge those calls that you made during this "free period". Afterall, if you used it, you need to pay for it.

You said "proper", you mean the ones with NZ flag, a silver fern and NZ font??(aka. Personalised Plates rip-offs) Black plates? Just go get it then~ I've seen a few e46 on the street got them.
-
Could we probably organise a group buy on that??I am in but price dependent.

That's Duopoly (Monopoly with 2 players)!!!Unfair economics~! Limiting consumers choice~~!! anyway, I believe the stance of the police (who are actually the one that will catch you on the road) is that you cannot be trying to hide it or prevent it from being seen/read/photographed, it should be fine. Imagine trucks and 4WD having a NZ plate but full of dirt, dust and cr*p and compare that of a perfectly legible with non-NZ font. Who are they (LTSA) trying to kid?? I think, to summarise, they are technically illegal. But with the number of those on the road and didn't get busted (not to mention about those Porsche and Fazza with number stickers as a "plate"), we should be able to get away with it. Agree anyone?

Good stuff aliluya... Seem that the Euro plate with a "D" and german fonts are legal by this definition so does the white on black ones.... (I guess it has to be, otherwise they will have to remade those old plates for those 30 year old cars.)

That would run into a few hundred bucks.....Don't China make good tools??? (Chinese myself but no racial comment pls...)

I wonder if those bidders are for real or are they bidding simply they know they ain't gonna hit reserve.

I vote for panel (having one myself) Definitely some difference from the factory standard to the K&N panel. Quite obvious from 3500+ rpm, has some sound too~ Never had a pod in my cars, can't comment. Panel would be insurance friendly as it's less obvious.

the key word is Remus "STYLE"... probably not the best quality, might even fall apart in a few months time by the heat of exhaust. But it certainy got the looks. Just go with what you think they are, if they weight up worth it, go for it....

Seen them from $30 (@supercheap) to $300+ (Snap-On, etc...) Everywhere have them, Supercheap, Repco, Placemakers, Bunnings, Mitre10, etc... I guess torque wrench is torque wrench. Maybe the expensive ones torque closer to what's indicated (more accurate torque) when it clicks. If I need one, I will pay up to $100 for a reasonably good one. I always believe a good tool will last you 15 years of good use or more..

Ture, but I thought NZ always have the Euro version (with individual throttles). US M3 is M50 build-up. 96 M3 3.2 should have updated to the S52 engine already. S52M32 is correct I reckon.
