Do it, bar the bumper

I prefer without the eyelid, but it's your car~

Sounds great, but where's that dyno chart to prove the numbers? Also, 3x the original power and a break upgrade is "optional"?!?! What about structural and suspension upgrades to cope with the power hike? What are they thinking??

Front fog isn't so bad, but the rear fog really bugs the sh*t out of me.
-
Never had an exhaust mod on my cars, so exhaust note won't do much for me. It's music that affect me more though...

I'm sold, just need to save up the money to do it now...Thanks guys~!

Have you been to any advanced driver training? (not club track-days) Are they worth going? There're BMW NZ@Puke, BMW Oz@all over and the Holden NZ@all over (Puke, Taupo, Manfield and a few more places) Stage I courses from BMW are almost $600, Holden's one about $400, but you drive your own car in Holden's course.

You can if you must but I would not do it. Slippery ramp + Rear Wheel Drive = Burn-Out / Drown + Corrosion Damage down the line

I'd say it's a connector for the .... 1. torch option OR 2. the lead that gives you a second ciggy lighter socket for power (doesn't light ciggy tho) Those torch tends to get overcharged, killed the battery inside and doesn't work. Much better off carrying a MagLite in the boot.

I use K&N panel as well. Fuel saving is around 3-5% (i.e. 15-20km extra per tank) average. Can't feel any extra power in particular but it's more willing to rev close to red-line than factory filter (but that was due changing anyway)

Got pulled over for speeding a while back with German Europlates on, they didn't say anything about that.
-
Slightly off topic....When was that you work at JC? My friend's Z3 had the work done there~! Anyway, you guys has much better service than Team McMill's

Pop the hood, black boxy compartment, above the engine, below the wipers.

The pic in there is for Left-Hand Drive For us, it's under the steering and stuff.... Stick your head into the pedals and look up to the left of the car pix as shown (with the filter cover removed)

318is: Oil looks normal for something with 8000km on it (ie dark brown). Not slimy or particularly smelly. I'll do an oil change before Christmas. //Carl: Cheers for that, are they bad or will they do any damage? How do I / should I get rid of them?

more pic

Does anyone know what are these? Why are they there? Is this normal? e36 M52 engine, 1998 323i

My friend's Z3's roof got cut once. $6000 to get replaced at dealer. Lucky insurance paid most of that. Having said that, get a decent alarm with microwave sensor, don't put valuables in sight (even just a shopping bag), etc.... common sense stuff, you should be sweet.

Just thought the air-con flow seems a bit low, so I took mine out last night, it was pitch black !!! Just a quick one, does anyone know roughly how much are they?

UK changed the law recently that eating while driving is seen as "distracting"...so it could be one hell of a expensive burger

ouch... that'll buff right out -
what sort of milage have you got on your car? might want to use something a little bit thicker if higher milage, say 150k+

Agree VTNZ is quite strict but never had problem with them Last time they failed me for unbalanced break (caused by siezed caliper) which they should.... AA's station are pretty good too.
-
Agree not to M a non-M car. Seen a couple of M3 badged "some-car" in 15-inch bottle-cap wheels. LOL... how about a model desination downgrade? (maybe a 316 or 318 badge on a 325/328 car) Maybe even throw in a "d" (diesel) for good measure.

Does BMWorkshop and the likes do this kind of things? Sorry to hijack here, my breaks are almost done and thinking about a e36 -> e46 32x or 330 break conversion and some steel lines.
