Got a E36 handbrake boot w/ plastic surround. Its a light grey/tan colour. Looks original as it is melted/glued to the plastic surround - but could be an a/m item. In excellent condition, no rips but has some very tiny knicks near the bottom (so small you cant notice them unless you look hard, which I did to see them). Not sure if real leather, but looks fake to me (by looking underneath). I also gave it a nice clean with some proper interior spray/cleaner. Sell for $20 include post anywhere in NZ. PM me if you want it. And no sorry, it wont fit E30. But cannot answer about any other BMWs.

Kind of does. I tried doing something similar to what you said. But it seemed to fiddly so thought I was doing it wrong. I will keep trying, cos Im sure it makes it look tidier. Shot man.

It has a slight sparkle in the sun, it is old paint so wont be shiney like from the factory. And my phone cant pick up much detail. Steering wheel is going when my other one gets retrimmed when I have some spare $$s (current one is better than original wheel - they are huge & fkn ugly). And the tails are off the 318i, all redded. Reverse lights didnt work so I put stickers over it (yes its legal) - and havent bothered removing them. Still gotta go to a panel beater for a price to remove the dents & a good hardcore polish. Maybe this week. EDIT- am also very angry about today. I had all the paint ready to paint all the black stuff and it poured down ALL day. Stupid rain. I work weekends so couldnt do it this weekend been.

Surely those wheels would need some big counter weights in various places due to the fact the spokes are uneven. Otherwise they would wobble like hell. And as for OP, I take it there would be a small slot to pop the mirrors off to take the wheels off? I bet it would suck if someone kicked it and put a nice scratch in it.

When I put in my new gearstick gaiter, the old one had this round plastic thing in it but I cant figure out how to put it back in. I can post a photo if unsure what I am talking about. But its a small plastic thing that the gearstick went thru, and it was attached to the old gaiter. I just cant seem to put it on the new one. Im sure its supposed to make the gaiter stay in place and not slide up n down??? Any one know what its for & how to refit it? I can put a photo up if necessary, so long as the forum system allows me too... just ask. Oh and no, I cant find it on RealOEM website - it just shows the gaiter.

Thats what the sticker says. Whys that?

I live in Glenview whichborders Melville & Deanwell. I agree with huff3r, it depends alot on the streets, not just the suburb. Glenview is fine, and the only real dodgy "looking" street around here is Bruce Ave - and thats only like 8houses p/side long so thats nothing lol. Cant really judge suburbs, only streets (in Hamilton). If you go live out North Hamilton ways, you be looking at OVER $400 p/w easy, and if buying then over $500K easy. Those suburbs are the new "Hollywood" - so be paying for it.

I should also say, I can do a $10 discount for BS members (only if sold OFF TM). I am selling them for what i paid so I be making a loss if sold for $10 discount. PM me if interested.

Yeah, but with the way it is trying to source genuine items fb items are 2nd best. Only thing I hate about fb is they crack easy & a b-tch/expensive to repair. But fb is an option if you arent made of $ :-)

Just one photo of the car. Used my phone so checking how it comes out. Will put more up soon. Have also decided I need to repaint all the Black trimmings such as:- both bumpers, all door bump trims, black metal trims on all doors & front grills cos they are quit faded (but not the chrome bits, sorry guys) ;P

Looks good. That towhook looks out there too. I've left mine in for the hell of it (when I got the car), but havent painted it.

Yep its a mission. And if you do find someone willing to part with, it wont be cheap (especially if they know the value). You could also look for replicas on TM by people who make them out of fibreglass. There is someone currently waiting for an order of MT2 full kits made of fb. They might sell parts seperately.

What condition was the wheel in? Could be keen if someone could go get it for me (I'll give them the $ to buy it they sell the steering wheels for cheap at $12 + a bit to get it for me + post fee). PM me if anyone can go get it? Oh, what seats did it have?

Yeah cheers for the parts man. Only problem, I think the winder handle has been damaged (a lip on the edge of the socket part has been broken off so it doesnt stay on if I pop the handle back up). But will do for now. Am just waiting for a gearknob I bought off trademe to arrive then will try put some photos up...might do that at my mums place her laptop is better than this one - so should be done in a day or 2.

Will double check. Will PM you when I know exactly how many I got.

Another update. I fit the leather gaiter, I got from JC. Looks so mint. And also received my bunch of items off a TM seller. I have to say one of the best deals I've had in a long time - but Im not ging to say how much, simply just say - its good to shop around instead of going with the first choice! What did I get? Full Battery-Boot Conversion (minus box, I have one anyway) - will install this when I do the carpet. Sunroof Winder Handle - now to figure out how to pop it on without breaking it. MINT Underdash Panel - already fit. Aerial - to be fitted whnever I want.

Sticker on starter motor says:- 0 001108065 12V (975) BMW 12.41.1714 750 Alternator sticker is unreadable but has a black plastic cap covering something that says:- 1 197 311 021 EL 14V 4C Made in Spain 672 Does any of that indentify what they are from? TIA
